I've stayed at cabins here in the Pacific Northwest that have wool drapes for their windows and sliding glass doors. Something to consider for the winter months!
Wonderful start with the camper 2! Privacy is not the biggest concern, a piece of Privacy Protection Window Film can be helpful. Thinking of you might barely use the rear window, since you already have a huge window at the side, why don't you turn it back to the solid wall and put some storages on as well as a sink underneath? Hope you enjoy travelling with the new toy!

The house looks amazing with all those windows, but I would only use it in summer. Glass is not a good thermal insulator, so you will probably be cold for the entire winter.
I am really excited about this new journey in unit 2. For the cold at night I would like to advise you to put insulating sliding curtains and install glass with an air chamber. I hope I can give my little contribution to this journey. ❤

Hi Tabi.I really like your new house, it´s wonderfull. And I´m happy that you are able to life your dream and be happy. But while watching your build video I had a lot of concerns. These awesome massive windows are great, but also a huge entry point for cold air. Even if they are really airtight, just from the huge glas lot´s of cold air can come in. I thnk with windows this big, you need double glazed windows at least. With two or even three layers of acryl and air between them. And I was wondering if your door is water tight all around. To me it looked like water can get between the door and the frame. Same goes for the flap to the cabin of the truck, is it water tight from the ouside? Don´t get me wrong I´m really not trying to criticize you or to be rude, I just hope you will be able to get a lot of joy out of this new house and that you can have fun with it for a long time without damages, Btw. I love our videos, they are so relaxing and fun to watch. Congratulation to your succsess on youtube. Please proceed with what you do and let us contribute. Greetings from Germany. One major concern Tabi is the door you should make it a sliding door reason is parking you mite get trap if someone park too close to you. If you could make door slide in to the back wall that should give you room to get out..

Good test run, all systems GO! The new "box" looks like there is some additional space but still cozy, easy to heat in winter and cool in summer.

窓が大きい分冬は冷え込むし夏は暑いですからね。窓にプラダン貼れば保温性能はいくらか増しますが今度は折角の眺望が損なわれますしね。ここは頭の捻りどころですね。

照明と壁の柔らかい色味で、とても優しい温かみのある空間が出来上がりました。部屋も広くなったので、映る範囲も増えて、ますます見やすくもなりました。素人目から見ても、カメラの性能が、更に生かされてる気がして写り方も綺麗に感じます！

旅家さん、旅家さんのシェルの場合は、空間を暖めるよりも、完璧な防寒着を身に着けた方が宜しいのではないでしょうか？外に居ても寒く無いレベルのダウンジャケットと、ダウンパンツと、ダウンブーツであれば、シェルの中だけで無く、眠る時も寒くて目が覚める事も無いと思いますよ。朝、目が覚めて、寝床から起き上がるのも、寒く無いと思います。あと、窓の下半分位にカーフィルムを貼ってみては如何でしょうか？カーフィルムも、白い縞模様のフィルムがあれば、目隠しで有りながら、景色も観られて、夜、灯りを付けても中が見えないと思います。試してみては如何でしょうか？

2号さんとの初夜は寒かったみたいですね((+_+)) しゃぶしゃぶは美味しそうでしたね。寝る時だけは窓枠にに発泡スチロールか銀マットみたいな物をはめ込んでみてはいかがでしょうか。これから更に極寒の中での車中泊を楽しみにしておきます(^_-)-☆
