@Oscura I think that it's true though. It's the weather. Warm weather and the amount of sunny days per year actually helps them with that. Not everybody but a lot of them. The weather isn't the hottest around the equator, In fact normally it's about temperate (the hottest place on earth is Death Valley, California and Mexicali, Baja California). It's that vitamin D that makes people not depressed and happy. There are outliers, but those are exceptions and there's always exceptions to anything.

Siempre he tenido un overnight layover. Alemania es un país muy bonito pero pensaba yo mismo que no viviría en Alemania por qué la gente no es amigable. No conozco a nadie y yo estaría bien solo. No hablo alemán, solo sé 3 palabras (pero si hablo español e inglés). Algo que si agradezco mucho es del pueblo alemán que si me ayudó cuando necesitaba ir a algún lugar. Me dieron direcciones o me mostraron a donde ir. Me ayudaron en inglés! Yo debería saber alemán pero al ver que Alemania es muy English friendly eso es una tremenda. ayuda. Además los alemanes si te ayudan cuando estás perdido o algo así. Así fue mi experiencia en Múnich.

It was actually surprising for me people didn't like quite a lot of countries/cities. As a Portuguese neighbor I find Spain a great country, honestly admire you, full of enthusiasm for life, straightforward and optimistic mindset.

Well, it's normal. The image from the medias it´s always people in war, bombs, deaths, no human rights for minorities, religious fervor and stuff like that. But, at the end, if you come to Spain and meet Spaniard people, youll see we apreciate people of all nacionalities and cultures and make no difference to make friends!

As a Spaniard myself, I can´t speak for the 47 million people that live here, but definitely I can´t say that this people do represent everyone in Spain. Our culture has been created due to the mix of several cultures and we are usually welcoming to those coming from abroad, no matter the origin. Do we have a problem with geography? I think so, even inside Spain people believe lots of stereotypes between regions, fostering nationalism and we tend to live without caring very much for the rest of the planet. But bear in mind that we are AWFUL speaking English, maybe the people interviewed didn´t understand exactly what they were being asked and then these answers such as London, Punta Cana... or I would like to believe that haha
