It’s both sad and ironic that the psycho cut buffs a long time ago were a net negative for Absol, which sucks because this is one of the most entertaining and fun mons imo.
Now in the current meta without Psycho Cut, Night Slash isn't that viable for how slow it is even with Sucker Punch(even if you make it work). At least Absol is still strong with Pursuit. Maybe Night Slash might get buffs but I am cautious about touching that move.
I miss when Night Slash + Sucker punch was viable, I still make it work but it is not as consistent as it used to be
Other than the range nerf and the other nerfs, Night Slash actually got power crept even after the buffs. Maybe it might get some buffs to keep up with the meta. It is funny that Cris used to hate Pursuit but he actually loves it just after the Absol nerfs and the buffs later on. Also I do feel you in a way since that was the time where Absol used to be balanced.
@@UltimateRaven I feel it's gonna be super hard to balance night Slash because of the Psycho cut rework that happened during the Absol meta. Now buffing night Slash indirectly buffs Psycho cut and the line is too thin to walk on só i think it is the end for night Slash as a move

This build is just pure outplay potential and its actually good even at its lowest. By far my favourite Speedster build out of all of them.

2000+ matches, 64% WR Absol main here. Just wanna say, Night Slash is also still lethal if you really learn how to utilise it, even better than Pursuit in my experience despite the buff. Also, always go with Sucker Punch, the mobility and counter it offers is far versatile & effective than Night Slash.
I do not want to play against you☠️☠️☠️☠️. I already hate absol, and def don’t want a 64% win-rate on in my games😭😭😭.

@@sitarb5934 bro i don't know about night slash but psycho cut was Nerfed badly you use it's your choice but it was used in every match nowadays most absol players use pursuit and cut or pursuit and punch
@@Hari-lr5ctHes correct brother, even with the nerfs, max stacked night slash with a psycho cut is a one shot on most attackers. Unite+psycho cut is a one shot on most all rounders and supports, some defenders. It requires a higher skill level compared to the absol era,
but it can definitely still one shot
I still one shot easy every mon with cut slash.. just snowball, get kill and stack in first gank and you will one shot every mon for the rest of the game.. i think it s insane how people don t play this build..

How do you do such a high crit-rate sucker punch? I use psycho cut to strengthen my pursuit, but other wise how do you do it?
@@puzzlepenguin2910 Its actually random tbh and also Sucker Punch can normally crit. So, with just crit items and an emblem page that gives you more crit, it normally works.

This was a lucky game, that’s why absol is not so good, your entire game can be defined just bc you didn’t crit when you had to, and It could go either way, still, he played a very good absol, this isn’t just luck making his absol look strong

My win rate is falling due to team comb every 3 or 4 out of 5 games I get low lvl players on my side and opposite team has atleast 3 good players man
Would definitively love to see more absol games, I do think some people don’t understand this character as a whole and he’s very fun to play and absolutely strong in the right hands, but he just lacks so much consistency compared to other speedsters…
@@valentinperez1756 Yeah no.. Arguably a skilled absol can outplay *MOST* of the other speedsters
Absol is designed to counter others speedsters, it’s one of the things he can do, but absol is also reliant on crits to perform, has a mediocre late, doesn’t really do much into control or sustain, is predictable, is easily countered… yk, he’s just not in a great spot, the balance between his pros and cons isn’t positive
