One is an invasion and they didnt announce when they would attack. They gave them a deadline to pull out. It started with an air campaign vs their air defenses + gaining air superiority immediately. Iran is planning an attack, not an invasion. They will not have air superiority and, one would think, may need the element of surprise to be successful.
