I started drinking when I was 16. I would drink at parties, but I also started drinking alone because I was unhappy, and I was in a lot of emotional pain all the time. My mom was very aggressive when I was younger, and my brother hated her and so did I. He started hanging out with shady people, he started failing all his classes, he was never home, and my parents fought all the time. I also ran away several times. I was always trying to figure out a reason as to why I was here or what the purpose of life was. So, I started looking at different philosophies, religions, and beliefs. When I was 18 after I was hungover, I got on my knees and I prayed for the first time. I asked if God was real that he would show me he was real because I couldn’t take it anymore. I was crying when I prayed for this. At that moment I felt a presence come over me like a wind. It was barely noticeable, but it was unlike anything in my life I had experienced up until that point. I was surprised when I felt it and I remember saying “what was that?” after that experience I pretty much forgot what happened and kept partying, until my senior year when I got arrested. After my arrest, my parents lost all their trust in me and I was expelled from high school. I was told never to come back. At that time, I felt afraid and hopeless. That’s when I started looking for God, and I prayed that he would reveal himself in my life and that he would give me signs. My prayers began getting answered so consistently that I couldn’t deny that God was doing something. It was mysterious and compelling. I ended up in Church and started reading the bible hours a day. I stopped hanging out with all my other friends because they were continually getting arrested. I was able to forgive my family and myself and to ask to be forgiven. I noticed how at Church people were judgmental and how they formed cliques but were afraid to be around anyone else different from them. It increased my faith because I realized Jesus was not like that and ever since I was young, I saw people as people regardless of who they were. After a while, it’s like I could see God's presence was in my life and then it felt like he wasn’t, and then he was, and then he wasn’t. One day I woke up and felt more depressed than I ever have in my entire life. I felt like I was dying on the inside. That night I prayed, and I said, God, I don’t see my life five years from now I'm going to die Jesus save me Lord, please save me. I was weeping when I said it and when I asked him to save me, I felt a presence inside of me like a heartbeat, and I felt it once like a pulse, and I said Lord please save me and I felt it again even stronger. It was like radiance. When I woke up the next morning, I had transformed everything felt brand new like I was a kid again. All my fears and all my racing thoughts everything was gone. I looked at my hands, and I said this can’t be real it’s impossible. When I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw a different person. I started praying, and the holy spirit became entirely real to me it was washing over me and inside of me. It was total love and peace, and I heard a voice but not an audible one, it was an inner voice. It said I am with you; I love you, I will never leave you, it’s done it’s finished. That was May 3rd, 2009, and ever since then I’ve followed God, I have seen many things change and many things I know wouldn’t have changed without faith and belief. I know what it’s like to be lost to feel you have no hope. Don’t ever think you’re stuck, or life can’t change because it can. My mom is a Christian now, Its night and day. Some of the things that went away during that period were severe anxiety and my addiction to alcohol. I’ve seen and experienced so many things that are miraculous and seen how God has worked in my life. When we ask God to forgive us for what we’ve done and turn away from our sins and wrongdoings and we believe in Christ's sacrifice everything changes. His word says if we confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that he died and rose again we will have eternal life but not just life after death but abundant life in the present. Our sins are erased not only past, present, and future but our burdens and fears are lifted also. Our thoughts, our minds, our hearts, our souls are transformed and united with God and we know his spirit lives in us. If you seek, pray, and knock you will know JESUS IS KING!!! HE LIVES!
What a beautiful testimony for God’s glory! Thank you for sharing this! I too lived a life that I was completely ashamed of and have seen Jesus Christ work miracles in my life! Breaking the chains of addiction and replacing it with love and a willingness & eagerness to earnestly learn about God! How amazing God is! That He would sacrifice His only Son to pay the wages of death for our sins!! Praise God!!

I've just got back from our quaint little village of Paul Roux after doing the usual mundane tasks of going to the co-op, getting feed for the animals and other odds and ends. Almost routinely stopping on my way out at our local Spaza for a cool drink for today and a box of cigarettes.
When I walked in it was rather crowded but funnily quiet with a few hushed wispers every now and again. All with masks on which has now become the norm and doesn't make one feel uncomfortable anymore.
An old man shuffled towards me and smiled at me and we had the good old greeting and normal pleasantries towards me. He then asked me, sir were you one of the guys in Senekal yesterday? The Spaza went quiet. I said yes that I was.
What happened next still has me feeling overwhelmed. There was an explosion of emotions from young and old. The ladies started singing and dancing. The men all came forward to shake my hand where I realized my African handshake needs some work! But I can say that after today its mastered.
One very well dressed young man come to me, shook my hand and said thank you sir. All this in perfect English. What he said to me really touched me and all agreed with him. Sir, yesterday when all the boere drove past us it became quiet. We all knew that today is the day that change will come. We have been waiting for the farmers to stand up and decide it's enough!
We are all scared at night and nobody is safe, we know having worked on farms where our food comes from. We know that its not the farmers fault for job losses. We are tired!
What bowled me over was what came next. Sir, we know that next week the court date is coming up. What we ask is, will the boere please stop with all their white bakkies so that we can fill them and join you. We need to all come together!
A lot more was said and many a cheer and smile was made. Driving back, a load of feed and my mind racing with all my thoughts. I now realize that the time has come, we lost another young man with his entire life ahead of him. But his life has started a movement. One that I don't believe we have any idea of how powerful it is. I have hope again, South Africa will come right. We must just stand together and make ourselves heard!

25 years ago I experienced the rapture, at least part of the rapture. I was sitting up right in bed praying late one night in 1994. Then I was walking in a grassy field, first person. It was not a dream or a vision, God supernaturally moved me forward in time. As I walked I realized my feet were no longer on the ground; I passed over some trees and then I looked up and saw the clouds rushing at me. I then had this over whelming feel of joy, I knew I was going home as I reached up. I then shouted, I can't leave my friends behind and at that very moment I was back in my bed where I was praying. I'm 62 years old and I can't wait to experience the rest of the rapture. It was a wake up call for me.

Yes, when he said " who cares"? Concerning what will happen after the rapture. All i could feel was I care. I care about those i love who are not saved yet, or if they will be. the rapture is the judgement and every eye will see him and every knee will bend to Him ... the dead in Christ have began being judged in 1844 ... but this judgement is done in the Most Holy Place in Heavenly Sanctuary... when one like the Son of man comes to the ancient of days and the books are opened (3 books in Heaven that reveal earth and mans history - the book of life/the lamb, the book of martyrs/saints and the book of remembrance/deeds)

I love the idea of it being very soon. And Amir is so fun to listen to. But Rev 14:14 seems more consistent than Rev 4:1 of what 1 Thes 4 describes. What do you think?
Michele H thanks for asking. I think Rev 4:1 is more consistent with 1 Thess 4. I can’t see any mention of a sickle in 1Thess 4, but I can see the bride being caught up. In Rev 14, those who are reaped by the man on the cloud are thrown into the wine press of the wrath of God. That’s no way to treat a bride, and is, I think, about a later event.

You hit the nail right on the head. Most people believe and are taught that IF you believe in anything other than a pre-trib rapture, you WILL NOT make it. you will be left behind and will go to hell. This is not scriptural in any way. If you are a born again Christian, and your name is written in the Lamb's Book of Life, when the rapture happens (pre or post) you will be in it and be with the Lord for all eternity.

@@fredschell8051 I'm sorry to say, there is no such rapture. Jesus already had his second coming. We die and go to him. It's been that way for almost two millinniel. All eschatology in prophecy have been fulfilled, except for you own departure from this planet, which will come to reality when you die. We all die as Christians just as with the unbelievers. However, Christians will be with the family of God for eternity in heaven.

Michael Chering. I lost my wife 5 years ago, I miss her so much, I thank you for your ministry giving me such hope. I have been a Christian for 70 years. and I have studied the word, but I thinks it is great to be reminded of the truths in Scripture in such a wonderful way. Never too old to learn!

I hope you don’t think we are under the Old Testament Judaism law. Yes the Ten Commandments are written for all men. But circumcision etc and all the requirements we are not supposed to follow. The Bible makes that pretty clear.

My reply to them folks is ,
Jesus did not fail.
He conquered the reign of sin over us, not the existence of sin.
Even though we may still sin, it can no longer hold the true believer in its web.
The objection of sin still being in the world not only fails to understand what needed to be restored (our relationship with God), but fails to appreciate the depth of man's earthly, sinful nature,... it fails to understand what Jesus has already accomplished.

Pam, the pre trib rapture sounds great, but it's a false teaching. Beware! NOTE: the rapture includes a resurrection of the saints which will be the 1st resurrection. The first resurrection takes place in Rev. 20 just before the 1000 year reign of the Messiah. There can not be 2 'first" resurrections.Paul in 2 These. Yom Kippur 2021 nice to see others that dont believe in pretrib rapture. Interesting writings you got there. I dont approve setting dates, but I agree that maybe in the next decades or two things will unfold and the tribulations will begin. Lord help us all.
V-P I am also hesitant to present dates and only do so when I have confirmation. The things I know will take place on Yom Kippur 2021 and shortly thereafter I have confirmation for from three reliable and Godly sources. Other things in scriptures align with these things perfectly so they can be trusted.
One of these sources has been shown many things that will take place which coincide with scriptures up to the end of this age. She stated that she has not been shown anything in or after 2030 and was curious to know why. I replied that it was simple. The end of this age will come around that time and the millennial reign will begin. The things she is being shown are of this age, not the age to come.

V-P Lassila I believe in PreTrib Rapture. I think it has stronger scriptural support when all of the arguments from scripture are presented. Amir does great here on the basics, but Andy Woods analysis (RUclips "7 reasons to trust in Pretrib Rapture) really fleshed out the strongest points. My opinion.
Yom Kippur 2021 Respectfully, the concept of "killer Rapture" in your document seems contrived and a mangling of the scripture text. At the Rapture, no living saints are killed, but all who are in Christ and still living, will receive new bodies, transitioning seamlessly from mortals to immortals. There is no killing - only resurrection (of christians who have already passed on) and transformation (of christians who are living at the time of the Rapture). This is borne out by another verse: "we shall not all sleep (die) but we shall all be changed, in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye...". The PreTrib position does not lead to a "killer Rapture", either by scripture or by logic. Killer Rapture is not a justifiable refutation.
As to the "last trump" question, this has been addressed before by Pretrib proponents. I personally think associating it with the last trumpet judgment violates a core character of God, who is said to not destine us to wrath, and who promised to also "keep you from the hour of testing that is going to come on the whole world to test those who live on the earth." It is not to shelter us in that hour, but to take us from that hour.

I am in Constant thought about our future life with Jesus. My grandsons ( 13 and 9) talk about what heaven will be like all the time. They are so excited as well. I lost my beloved father to cancer in 1987. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him and miss him. He was the most wonderful man and father that I could have hoped for.

When I was about 6 years old I had a dream that I flew up and escaped some thing bad that was happening. I don't know what it was but I felt like I got a small taste of how we rise and it's nothing like we could imagine. Fast but no wind blowing on us and freedom like you've never felt. I'm 63 and I still remember it like it was just now. I didn't know anything about the Bible or a rapture either. I didn't grow up in a Christian home. I wasn't around any bible teachers. I believe it was God. I did have a lot of stress on me from a very young age. My life was hellish. I am so looking forward to the rapture!! Praise God.
I had a similar dream. Not in Christian family, but two Angels got me and flew up with me, thus I became a believer in the rapture before I ever became a Christian.
You just reminded me of a dream I had a few years ago. I don’t really entirely remember it all because I didn’t know what it meant at the time. I have some wild, crazy, terrifying, dreams. Anyways, I remember I was being pulled into the air. Like you said, fast, but couldn’t feel as if you were being thrown like the wind blowing. It was around nighttime or it was close to nighttime when I was being pulled into the air. All of a sudden I was in space around the area of our atmosphere for a few seconds. I don’t remember it all, but after that, I remember falling down fast back to earth. That’s all I remember. Also, at the time, I didn’t know about the rapture and didn’t know much about the Bible as well. I knew about some stuff in the Bible, but I didn’t know much. I’m currently 21, but I believe I had that dream around the age of 11-13. That was around the time I was going through a very, very hard time in my life.

I believe in the Lord Jesus--Come Lord Jesus Come!! I can not imagine not believing in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior--I know that there are many that do not believe--that is so sad for them.
Amir I had a dream about a year ago, I was sitting in my living room with my grandchildren and the ceiling open up and my grandchildren went up in the air and I was sitting looking at them going up, and when I woke up I prayed about it and I ask Jesus what that dream means and why was I left behind, and Jesus spoke to me by the Holy Spirit that it will HAPPEN and I knew he was coming back but he let me see it happen in my dream. I know I need to be ready and watching and praying and working until he comes back. he can come at anytime, but that dream was so real and I am so thankful Jesus let me see it happen cause it made me more wanting to be ready for that day
