Saving the Appearances, his book on Romanticism and his book on Coleridge are absolute GOLDMINES. They illustrate the principles and evidence of the evolution of consciousness in a unique way. You may need to read them multiple times, but like a good music album, you'll get something new and worthwhile each time. I'm thrilled here to see and hear his GRANDSON. What a treat.
What a treasure! I'm very fond of Lewis and Tolkien for helping to cast off the spell of naive materialism within me. Looking forward to learn more about your grandfather's work! God bless you!
Wonderful video. On the issue of the earth being sacred- how strange to have forgotten this, this beautiful planet is all we have, how could it not be sacred? But yes, we have forgotten this.
Thank you very much for sharing this. Your work is very important and I look forward to more content. Thanks for making difficult things easier to understand.
Thank you very much for this summary of the ideas of a master of thinking about thinking. Please, many would appreciate it, including me, making all of his work available via Kindle,
Good job, Owen. I have just discovered your grandfather and I am looking forward to.devouring his work. I hope you will contribute more to understanding grandfather.
Thanks, Owen, for this great explanation and the diagrams. It seems Christ came right in the nick of time when humanity was it its lowest point - no soul. Christ in you, the hope of glory, using Paul's words, seems to be this return to experiencing divinity in me relating to the divinity outside of me.
Can you please clarify my understanding of the rhythmic description of intuition, imagination and inspiration? Is the idea that when, for example, we see something or beauty like a flower, we may experience and intuitive sense of it, which leads us to an outward projection of imagination, and the imaginative quality may lead to inspiration and thusly a re-enchantment (which contributes towards final participation)?
This is excellent. It would be good of you to give le tores at Bible Colleges and theor Schools of Theology. Like Cairn University (Langhorne Manor, Pa )
Would be very interested in your mystical experience, would that be possible to describe?... perhaps. Also are you familiar with Mark Vernon a huge advocate of your grandfather.
I am only now discovering the work of Barfield. Deeply excited to learn more. Thanks for sharing

What a beautiful talk. Brought me to tears. Thank you Owen
Thank you very much Owen.
Hopefully now is the time when more and more people will be able to grasp that we are beings with Body, Soul and Spirit.
Hi Owen, It's good to finally 'see you' Not sure why it took so long to notice you on here. I really enjoyed and appreciate the video.

Great video. Hope you’re doing well
i remember seeing your grandfather at UC Berkeley in 67-68. I would never fully understand him, but that's OK.
