That poster at 10:28 that would have been in a kid's bedroom in the 60's or 70's. We had stuff like that on the walls and closet doors, and Mom couldn't stand it. She was always trying to find a reason to take it down or talk us into removing it. 😆 We couldn't get to the Ducktail Run this year, but at least with you're coverage of these events I could at least see what I missed and be able to share it with my brother.
Great swap meet pretty good prices also, Are generation is getting older every day and eventually you will not be able to give this stuff away. I have seen this happen with the antique business my grandma had for years. Beautiful peaces of furniture hand made all the way back into the 1800s and they would not take it if it was for free. This all started back in the 1980s, Finally the antique business went under because people would rather buy furniture and such from a Walmart then have hand made furniture made here in the USA that would outlast several lifetimes. These old cars and parts have no interest with the current generations now and the ones yet to come. I really hope it can turn around soon.
So very true Robert, I watched that happen too with antiques, as I had several nice pieces in my home. But when I moved about 10 yrs ago I had a hard time just giving them away. But yea, what all you said is so true.
I was there today, what great car show.
Cool, it really was!
Love the lunch boxes ❤
Those lunchboxes are awesome 👍
My father had an old Diamond T truck, back when I was younger !
