    Relatable. There is still a last portion left in the freezer - sealed in a vacuum bag - of when ma made her last holiday batch in ‘13. She passed in ‘15. She made capelletti. Val Taro cuisine.

      yes.. these look like capelletti to me too... I think different regions within Emilia-Romagna have variations on the themes bc I see people calling "tortellini" capelletti ... she used bread crumbs so this is not the Sammarinese recipe of my family... I lost my Nonna in "15 too... we were so blessed to have them weren't we? I thank God for my Nonna and my family. Happy New year! tanti auguri di buona salute e gioia

    it's too bad your family are so spiteful and competitive, fortunately, that is very very rare among the people in Emilia-Romagna and the vast majority of the people are warm-hearted, gracious toward each other and consider it a delightful blessing to share with each other and welcome each other's insight and give as richly as we have received.
