Maya was the first tigress i photographed properly in Feb 2021, she gave me extreme close up shots including her cubs ! She even gave a proper queen like ramp walk from the front & brushed us mere 50cm from our Gypsy. That Close ! Still gives me GOOSEBUMPS to this day.. What a Beauty queen she was ..
I was very lucky to see Maya, Surya and Meera on the banks of PP1 and Chota Mataka who was seated quietly in the tall grass and then started moving towards Maya. Some drama was going to unfold but then suddenly Matakasur made an entry on the stage and sensing the threat to Meera and Surya (or maybe Maya) swam across PP1 and drove away Chota Matka
Rohan it was a fantastic podcast with Jignesh Patel. I felt like I am listening to two top person who have such deep knowledge of Tadoba Tiger reserve. To inform you I have spent a big time in my Childhood in Chandrapur district jungles as my father was a Drilling Engineer in Geological survey of India and posted at Nagpur for many years. I initial education was in Bishop cotton School, Nagpur. I have visited Dudhwa, Kishanpur. Corbett many times since last 4 years. Previously i was with my Cricket guiding young Cricketers since last 29 years as i have Cricket Academy in Lucknow. I have myself played for U.P. Central zone and Jr Ranji trophy. But now I have come to my most loved interest which is wildlife. I have personally experienced many close encounters with Tigers and Leopards since my childhood living in camps with my father. I too have a you tube channel - BACK FROM THE JAWS OF DANGER - in which you will many real life stories of the jungles. I would certainly love to buy a copy of Jignesh Patel's book. Can you please send me the details of it as I am keen in visiting Tadoba in December this year. My Whatsapp No is 9839606772. Thanks again for the wonderful information. Abhijeet Sinha, Former U.P. Yo this podcast is fire definitely needs a 2nd part.. After Maya Chota Matka has been the star of the tadoba, If he stays in the tadoba for 2 3 more years he will itch his name in the history of tadoba at the very top. Make a podcast on the empire of Chota Matka.. Cover the South prime area and its tigers Dadiya, Chota Dadiyal, Shambhu, Xylo, Kaala, Raka, C1 C2 etc
Really ur podcasts are awesome to see n it brings more interest towards wild life which is very good to see....loved it full support from my side carry on with this,,, don't listen to the negative one's😃👍
Thank you very much for this such a wonderful, educational, interesting podcast. I am in love with Rohan Travel Stories channel. He is just amazing and Jignesh bhai is also amazing, what a transformation he has done from IT to wildlife. I am also interested in wildlife like Jignesh bhai and since the time I have experienced tiger sighting in Tadoba when we visited in May 2024, that was an amazing experience i mean I can't deacribe in words how it feels when you see tigers in their natural habitat. Jungle me toger dekhna ek avismaraniya anubhav hai. Thank you very much Jognesh bhai and Rohan dada for an amazing podcast. Please bring in Part 2 also, we are waiting.
@@rohantravelstories hi Rohan dada, I wanted to know more about Yuvraj and T9 male tigers, and also more on tigers in Nimdhela buffer zone as we spotted 5 to 6 tigers in Nimdhela gate when we visited Tadoba on 2nd May this year. Out of those 5-6 tigers, there were 2 subadult cubs we saw near a water body in Nimdhela gate, 1 we could see at the very beginning of the gate when our safari begun, and 2 or 3 more we could see in the open fields. If you can help us some more information about them that will be simply great. I have seen so far Tadoba Tigers bloodline, Competition between Pench and Other Forest reserve (I am sorry I don't remember the name at this very moment), Documentory on Indian Hyana near Pune and many others and I loved all of them. I repeatedly watched Bloodline of Tadoba, this is an amazing video with full of information right from the past. Tadoba has created a special place in my heart. Last year we visited Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and like most of the other Tourists, we were not lucky to spot a tiger. And this year tiger showed up on us 5 to 6 times in a single safari and watching them in the jungle is a really mesmerizing experience. Wanted to connect with you via Insta or FB as I also wish to explore more about jungle life, especially 🐯

As I keep visiting the Moharli Core Zone, according to me, Choti Tara will take place of Maya and rule the core zone.Choti Tara is also giving frequent sightings with her cubs. Talking about the young female, there are more chances of collarwali tigress if she beat Sonam. If not, then Sonam will be the ruler of the core zone; she has the ability.
When Wagdoh was rulling TeliyA range, there was another tiger called Shivaji who was rulling Kolsa range. Considering the looks of both the tigers Waghdoh had very ugly looks as his neck portion was so huge that it appeared as head has been stuck to the rest of the body giving a FROGISH appearance. As compared to looks of Waghdoh Shivaji of Kolsa was very handsome with proportionate anatomy. It has been observed that Tigers of Kolsa range are alway huge in size as compared to Teilya or Kolara ranges, That is because tigers of Kolsa mainly prey on Indian Guars where as tigers of other ranges mainly survive on smaller herbivores like deers, antelope & wild boars
