  • Kulning with an unexpected answer
It was one of those magical late summer evenings when the light and mist interacted to make the entire neighborhood into a fairytale landscape. We were at our neighbor's farm to see if we could call the cattle in by using the old Swedish singing technique kulning. But no cows came this time (my brother had to be a stand-in cow :)
There are not so many people who know how to "kula" nowadays so we were mighty surprised when someone answered through the fog. We still do not know who it was.
For more kulning and music like this, follow me on Facebook :)

P M it isn't an echo bc it starts a bit after they start to run off and then they get a response quicker than that of an echo. Plus the object that the echo would be bouncing off of would need to be large solid and a bit closer, they are doing it to an open field.

You're ringing the dinner bell for a Bigfoot. Good video, love the kulning. We've always just whistled to call the cows in.

I'm in the bathroom listening to this, the acoustics in this room amplify the sound. My dogs came to the door wondering what was going on. Now I have to repaint the wood because they scratched it trying to get in. 🤣

From playing this video, I have come to the conclusion that kulning works for calling cattle, as well as calling cats because my cat ran into my room when I was playing this and started meowing
