Awesome vid, I see you have mid controls, I am coming from riding 250cc dirtbikes and these forward controls feel beyond weird is it a difficult job to install them? And are they expensive?

Hey, not sure how often you are still reading comments..buuut I am curious about the particular model of saddlebag you have from longride. I contacted them and they said the mounting systems they have do not fit the scout due to lack of space. Are these just throw-overs? Did you need saddlebag holders?
You can use the throw-overs, but they will ruin your paint if you have matte.
I was able to mount them with the thro-over straps because I have a Ginz Choppers sissy bar. It has a mounting bracket that allowed me to strap the bags to the frame.

Those are trip machine leather wraps. Got em in tobacco brown, but they’re dyed in fiebings chocolate dye.
Dope! any advice for installing the front header? that angle is a pain
Both were a major pain, but I found the front header a little easier. Angle, twist and finesse as best as you can before ratcheting back on. Wish I had better advice for you. Good luck!

How do you like your mids?
Mid controls are great, especially because I have the drag bars that make me lean forward more so than stock
@@vinnymacprwhen you lean do you notice any issues with the seat? I was thinking about getting a springer seat but I wasn’t sure if it put to much lateral force on the springs
@@MastaKeahi nah, the springs are strong and there isn’t nearly as much force as you think
