This video is so cool because the pilot shows his impressive piloting and because you also realize he had close calls multiple times throughout this video. at 1:30 he almost hits powerlines, he probably didn't even see them through his headset because of the static and quality. And at 3:28 he hits the drain for the load of the car but didn't crash! Very impressive!
can i just point out to anybody who doesn't know NURK fpv. this is one battery, one flight. no edits. well done new york city drone film festival, a great well deserving choice. and congrats paul.
@@marcleslac2413 yeah people now seem to get when its an fpv drone, back then it was just a scary encounter. when people see my quad now they love to see some simple acrobatics or just a punch out will get a cheer, but even with them being more common (fpv is still incredibly rare) i still choose to sit somewhere everybody can see me, it often includes long long waits for the light and i have time to explain and let people watch a flight in the goggles.

He had me when his drone passes between two cars then he had me again when drone go under train. At last, I jumped when drone entered inside box car. Man is genius.

Yes, Railroads are considered to be "critical infrastructure" and the Department of Homeland Security will enforce. You're not supposed to fly over parked or moving trains or railroad yards. The unknown area is how far away from these trains you need to be to be in compliance, but yes, the filming of this video is most likely illegal.
