STOP filling kids with drugs for every little thing.
ADHD meds are overprescribed because moms and teachers demand them, but no one is prescribing opioids to kids. Most MD's wont' accept patients in their practice if they are opioid seekers.
Great job government. Trudeau... Ford... and Ebby in BC,the list goes on.
Simply amazing job (note my sarcasm)
throw the dealers in prison like they used to for a start
It's almost like making drugs easier to access promotes the kind of ODs were seeing now
How many ODs were happening at the height of Oxy being liberally prescribed 10-15 years ago?
I like how he says they never got to use the drugs for very long
Age 10? Why so young? It all starts at home. These children learn what they live.
To be very honest, The street drugs needs to be stopped
and the legal ones getting many hooked in the fist place
What do you think they're trying to do? DUH!!!
Is it as bad in Canada as it is in the USA?
Yes.
Yes it sure is.
Why isnt this happening anywhere in Quebec.
Give anyone who want drugs all they can have or want problem solved
All started when daddy trudeau legalized marijuana
Ops are not a solution
Just seen ems going to save a guy.
How's that safe supply working out?
Well said.
What safe supply?
Like the titanic...
There is no safe supply. Are you ok?
Alberta allowing drug addicts to just openly use drugs wherever definitely doesnt help the situation.. sure they get found when they OD but the behavior is a norm now.
Not surprised, what do we expect if this society promotes drugs?
JT's Canada....copying the failed policies of San Fran and Portland
BC legalizing drugs isn’t much of a deterrent
Funny how the "safer" drug access gets, the more lethal the results. But the bleeding hearts will interpret this increase of deaths as a need for even MORE "safety"....🤔
Exactly the problem
Have you tried to get access to "safer" drugs?
@@aaronwatter Luckily no. Otherwise my brain would be a mess.
Babylon your kingdom is falling!
Thanks.
We have failed by not taking this seriously. Our kids are unaware of the lurking dangers in the background.
hs
Helping to control the population!
When yo make Drugs Legal and free, this is your result, Come to B.C., the NDP are making a fortune.
Right! What we really need to do is return to decades of failed drug policies and criminalizing addicts!
.. yes, that was sarcasm
@@thrillhouse7867 Failed, because of a gross failure to enforce the drug laws! Corrupt police, prosecutors, and courts!
@spacejamzyt6461 Where do you live? South America, where they're still illegal? lol
Because the old strategy of criminalizing users worked so well?
You're right, they should instead charge a fair price for them.
They should be teaching this in the schools, and possibly even treatment.
Schools should be looking out for at risk students...and implementing after school programs to engage students in healthy, productive activities .
Doctor puts on a sympathetic face for the camera. Children are suffering from the destruction of the family and access to drugs. Everywhere we turn, we are failing our children. Give parents and family the power and the tools to save them.
I am suffering from LACK of access to drugs.
So true. Parents and guardians have no say in a teen's health care. Families cannot take kids to medical treatment that is needed. We are failing our youth in this country.
This isn't news! It's a drama piece.....BRAVO!!
Cana duh
Thank Trudeau
Thank all the leaders of all parties, doctors, and healthcare professionals who flooded our healthcare system with opioids. Then dramatically controlled, putting restrictions in place without treatment for dependency after years of over prescribing to mask patients pain, instead of investigating the cause of patients pain. Over the past 40-50 years for not keeping pace with the risk involved with these highly addictive medications. Pandering to the corporate greed from drug producing corporations.
Not all issues in Canada can be blamed on the most recent political leader, this issue has been decades in the making.
No it was all the liberals who put this program in place
Trudeau's deadly Legacy
There’s been such an uptick in overdose deaths over the last 3 weeks in my city in Canada….I just lost my mother to an overdose last Monday . words can not describe how broken we are .We are losing our loved ones
I'm really sorry to hear that, and I hope you can use your experience to advocate for change.
@@aaronwatteryou guys need to advocate for easier access to pain medications for chronic pain like Norway does, any doctor can give out opioids if a patient is in chronic pain or if they are already a long term addict, they literally have the lowest od’s in the world
It's a tragedy. I blame this liberal government for it, as they created the circumstances for this opioid crisis, that destroys innocent families. Really sad, it should not happen to any Canadian.
vvvvvery simple.....drugs = bad...not hard folks....play stupid games, win...
We are losing some of our finest citizens.
Oh yeah, finest citizen's, they don't want to work, they get on the welfare, stay in homeless shelters, use their welfare checks to buy the drugs, your right, top notch citizen's.
How about holding the doctors accountable for getting kids hooked on drugs?
Then, hold countries that manufacture the drugs accountable.
Big Pharma runs the government they wont be held accountable for anything
Doctors aren't the problem, drug dealers are and we all no were most come from
Yup
QUICK! We need to stock all high schools in the province with safe supply heroin. That will surely prevent teenagers from overdosing!
Hell no,!!look ar BC
what
Decriminalization taxation
This "doctor" makes no sense at all.
Canadian kalistanis drug business in canada
I am on treatment for 12 years and the treatment give withdrawal like crazy. I withdrawal everyday from the new treatment kadian. I had withdrawal with methadone too. It's hard to function and have a job
Yes withdrawal with out the high so you can have a life I’m on suboxone for life cause I suck at life it’s the only reason I’m alive .im not scared to get sick it’s to stop me from being able to use if I do I just get extremely sick cause it has narcan in it
Suboxone is your guy Easyer to get and also it’s 24 hour not 12 ,I only see my doctor once a month
Is there a correlation with mental health or is it an increased access to fentynol? Do they initially know that they're taking a deadly drug or are they being decieved?
Does life insurance pay out in these cases
Political. Lack of opporunity for the young. No jobs, no money, no incentive, poor education, racism etc...
There’s more jobs out there than there ever has been
@@Al-lv7vg I forgot to mention the parents also.
@@jumbome7420 About 20 years too late for that.
If we don’t have enough jobs for citizens, why is the government bringing in so many foreign workers?
Poor kids😢
The fact deaths have tripled in Ontario alone is scary, convincing, and Deadly. I Hope and pray for our future generations 🙏 each and every youth and adolescent in this world are in my thoughts. That they find a way to persevere in these uncertain times ahead. 😢
I mean.... this might be how you solve homelessness lol.
