I obtained this beautiful set not long ago finally, and it's beautiful Rambo is one of my favourite characters ever created. So iconic and so much heart along with Rocky, Sly nailed it. My ranking is from best to worst 1,4,2,3,5 great job on the video Christian.
Those Steelbook Boxsets are a thing of beauty! If I ever make the jump to 4K I really want to get the Batman 89-97 Release that was put out as I’m a wicked huge Batman fan. Also the Harry Potter one
Great ranking! For me, I would rank them as: 1. Rambo: First Blood Part II- I agree that the first one is a better film, but this is the most enjoyable and rewatchable one for me. It was also my introduction to Rambo, so I have some nostalgia for it. 2. First Blood- A classic. It's the best one, but I enjoy watching Part II more. This is a phenomenal film about PTSD and Vietnam veterans. 3. Rambo- It's a brutal war movie. I really enjoy this one. 4. Rambo III- It's like Part II, but not quite as enjoyable. Still good though. 5. Rambo: Last Blood- If Kevin McCallister was a Vietnam veteran, you'd get this film: Home Stallone. Joking aside, it's a decent film that is saved by a great third act. They're all solid films though. Even Number 5 is still good
I'm really tempted to get that unfortunately I already bought all the movies on 4K. But I don't know I might have to double down. I did a ranking of the films on my channel and my ranking from worst to best would be 5. First blood part 2 4. Last blood 3. Rambo 2. Rambo 3 1. First blood.
@Planet CHH it’s hard to say what my favorite Rambo movie is, I personally love the entire franchise for various reasons but, I think for me if I had to pick just one if my house were to burn down today and I had to run out with just a handful of movies and my 4K player and I had to grab one of the Rambo movies as part of that handful I’d probably grab First Blood. The reason I would probably say First Blood is my favorite in the series is because, I just love the down to earth simplicity of the film compared to the more bombastic action packed later entries which I love as well but, from a story standpoint I think the heart breaking truth of how our soldiers were treated when they came home from Vietnam was portrayed with such realism. I also at least from my perspective, I don’t believe that the police chief would have acted out and hunted Rambo down with his deputies if he truly knew how his “friend” was abusing Rambo in first blood all he saw was Rambo kill his friend and then he went into a blind rage and bloodlust. I don’t know that’s just how I’ve always viewed the film but, maybe he would have acted the same even if he knew how abusive that son of a bitch was being to Rambo.

Great video. Love all the films. He puts Jason Voorhees to shame at the end of Last Blood. It's like a slasher film. He's too good at killing, end slaughter was over too fast.

From what I’ve seen they have the lord of the rings, the hobbit, mad max, new it & Harry Potter with these gorgeous steelbook steelsets along with the ones you mentioned. I personally own mad max and the lord of the rings. Both don’t even come close to the art this Rambo set has. But the lord of the rings is closer than mad max which is kinda disappointing on the box art since it’s reused on multiple sides. Same as the lord of the rings but the art is nicer imo that’s being repeated
Rambo 3 for the win. I agree, First Blood nailed the Vietnam commentary. #3 takes us into new territory, & is the "freshest" of the original sequels. I'm a double feature guy, so First Blood & R3, plus Rambo '08 & Last Blood are perfect pairings, in my opinion. And thanks again Christian for showing us all your other interests. Whatever you want to talk about is fair game. The person talking, & not necessarily the subject, is why this channel is so great. ❤
