I have been to South Korea many times but this one has never interested me. However, last time I got a chance to try it and it turned out to be very delicious, I got hooked.
Can anybody tell me what the brown powdery substances he puts inside the dough before putting it into the oil for cooking I’ve seen many videos and I have no idea what it is. Is it a sweet product is it a savoury product?

호떡 먹은지도 엄청 오래됐네.. 초등학교때 종종가던 분식집도 주문하면 눈앞에서 바로바로 구워주는거 소리들으면서 보는게 참 좋았는데. 중고등학교때도 다른곳에서라도 먹긴했을텐데 기억이 잘안남

I’m wondering the same. Best guess is it’s cocoa powder and nuts. Probably MSG or flavor enhancer of some sort. I’d like to know too. 🤙🤙

요즘 호떡들은 다 호빵수준이네 반죽도 큼직큼직 기름에 튀겨서 만드네 ... 옛날 얇게 눌러서 설탕이 녹아서 흘러내리던 그런 호떡이 없네

반죽은 생각보다 느끼하구요,
꿀에서는 땅콩을 잘게 부수어 섞여있는듯 한데요,땅콩이 오래되었는지 땅콩기름 쩐내가 호떡맛을 다 망쳐버려서 실망하고 왔습니다
