I was lucky enough to see the ice show "Cinderella, Frozen in Time" when I was a small child. I remember my mom buying me the cassette of the soundtrack and I wore it out! I was delighted to find this video of the entire performance here. All the music came right back to me and I fell in love all over again.
My parents taped this for me when I was a wee youngin. I was going through things a couple weeks ago and found it, and popped it in…after 30 years, the video tape was horrible shape from time and ware from watching this over and over again as a child. Thank you so much for posting this!
Mr. Baker. I just want to say your score was amazing in this. Like I said before, I remember watching this as a child and having a great time. I adored the characters and the costumes they wore. And even though I never saw it again until recently. Your music was the thing I remembered the most when watching this, it was magical. Especially Button's theme. My favorite piece is when the Prince announces the ball to the villagers. Wow. The rest is so much fun and magical to listen to. You did an amazing job. Thank you so much.
I was lucky enough to be the light board operator (and one of the lighting directors for this TV special) the first year it toured (East Coast Tour). The music for this was amazing. It set such a beautiful mood for such a beautiful show! To this day, if I listen to the music I can clearly picture exactly what was happening on the ice. Thank you Michael Conway Baker
Thank you for this, Kent. As anyone who has been involved in shows like this, the success depends on the talents of quite a few talented people. The music was certainly an important element, but all the other elements, the skaters, the lighting, the choreography, etc. etc. are what made this show work so well. Again, my thanks for writing that you have enjoyed the music.
This movie is my childhood and I feel so young watching this. It bring back so many memories and just the feeling of being light and carefree and to dream again. It makes me heal a little bit more. And the pumpkin Coache is my favourite it looks so wonderful and I also love it that the ball dress is white and not blue. I love it that it is telling the story but it’s different from the Disney version and it’s wonderful looking. It like you are dreaming which them and the music.... I love this movie
Wow amazing breathtakingshow fantastic choreografies and of course amazing figure skaters and the music everything is perfect i can't stop watching it is it just me or does look cinderella like elisabeth fro. the musical elisabeth empress of austria it almost lookes like the same dress the stardress and the stars in her hair looks almost the same as elisabetg

This identical ice show was featured on an episode of Rescue 911---after the show, a baby stops breathing in a parking deck!!! Was this show in Sagana, Michigin in 1994??!!!!
