Thank you for your lovely words of encouragement. I also do not understand why my videos are not more popular. Any help you can provide would be lovely. flippingphysics.com/help-out.html
I have been out sick from my physics class, this youtube channel has been a godsend on keeping up with my work. leaving a comment to boost you in the algorithm good sir!
Flipping Physics you are going to get me an A on my physics test tomorrow even though I haven't looked at the material until tonight. It's super concise and informative, keep it up!
@@hvy_mtl_drmr9563 You are very welcome. Do realize that all I did was provide you a tool for learning. You used the tool, learned, and earned your grade. Congrats!
Your videos are absolutely my favorite way to study and review. Best concise, understandable, and engaging way to give the information. Oh and that sneeze left me laughing for a while! Bless you haha
very classic. If you study mechanical engineering and engineering mathematics, SHM is a classic model to analyze. Thank you. I love your video, straight to the point style.
Truly a great review on Simple Harmonic Motion. This video along with the others under Mechanics C are helping me to rehash some old but important ideas needed for the AP test. Thank you!!
These videos are absolutely AMAZING!!! I was needing not just answers, but also EXPLANATIONS to the 1998 test and your videos do such a great job of providing those answers. I feel like I have a better conceptual understanding of physics now. Thanks for all of the hard work you put into these videos - believe me, it really pays off. If you could make a couple more test review videos before thest - i.e., for the 2012 released Physics tests/Physics FRQs, that would be EXCELLENT. I'd prefer Physics C, since I'm taking that this year, but the other AP physics work fine too. You are a lifesaver!
You are welcome and thank you for your kind words. With regards to the solutions to the 2012 practice exam. Perhaps someday. It will be a while though, there are so many videos I want to make...
The test solutions would be a great help to all of us who are struggling with physics FRQs. But I understand; thanks so much, and keep it up! I admire your passion for physics - it really shines through your videos.
You deserve so much praise for these awesome videos❤ I imagine your following isn’t as large as it should be because there isn’t a large group of people who seek out ap physics videos on material. Nonetheless you do a great job.
4:30 We should also clarify that the equation T=2*pi*sqrt(L/g) is only valid if the pendulum can be approximated as a point mass. If the pendulum is not a point mass, it is not as simple as distance from pivot to the center of mass. The physical pendulum is the topic that covers distributed mass pendulums.
Looks great. Few things: Substitution of Velocity and Position into KE and PE equation for SHM Period of pendulum with rigid object. I have seen that on AP many times when they are dealing with Torque to derive T.
Yeah, those are good suggestions which I will make sure to cover someday when I get to the point where I am making non-review videos for APC. Someday...
6:29 Oh if I said that in my class and the teacher just said "correct" (like you did 7:20 ) , I would have been so mad!! BTW, I love your videos! They are really helpful : )
Any chance you could help me out by doing what I ask people to do in the following video? bit.ly/2y4tOCA It would be a great way to show your appreciation!
A cubical box of length L cm side and density 𝜌 is floating on water of density 𝜎 (𝜌>𝜎). the block is slightly depressed and released. Show that it will execute SHM also find the time period..... please ansewar
Flipping Physics- I know this is an older video but it need some help! How do you, given the Wave Equation, find the solution y(x,t) = Asin(2pi/wavelength)(x+-vt)? Every I look it is just given out of nowhere and I can’t actually find where it comes from and how to calculate it. Your help would be much appreciated! Thank you!
3:41 Sir, why is omega for the spring oscillator equal to sqrt(k/m), shouldn't it be sqrt(m/k)? If not, then how did you convert it to sqrtm/k; I cannot put it on that form. Thank you for your videos.
Damped oscillation is not in the curriculum, however, i would not be surprised if it came up anyway. They have a tendency to ask questions which go slightly beyond the curriculum to check to see if you truly understand the physics.
around 11:39, you say that acceleration is a maximum at positions #1 and #3, but velocity is 0, so shouldn't acceleration also be 0? btw these videos are super helpful, thanks
Acceleration equals _change_ in velocity over change in time. The velocity may be zero at 1 & 3, however, it is experiencing its maximum _change_ in velocity at those locations.
Love your videos!!... and when I win the LOTTERY.. I'll be sure to make a Respectable Donation!!... thank you for the Education by way of Entertainment and humor!!..
I realize the odds of winning the Lotto is Huge.. something like 1 in 140 million.. but the odds of me winning by NOT buying a ticket are 1 in INFINITY!!.. that's staggering!.. So, I'll be buying a ticket.. :D
This is amazing . . I just let my friends know about your channel. So watch out your channel is going to be invaded by tons of Indians !!! You deserve more subscribers .i just subbed and thanks loads😃
Thanks! You asked about breaking forces in to components on a different video, however, I keep getting an error when I try to reply to that comment. I explain breaking forces in to components in this video: www.flippingphysics.com/three-force-example.html Also, it would be really nice if you could "like" my videos. Clearly you have spent a bit of time with them.
1) I think goddamn is one word. 2) I think it should be goddamned instead of goddamn. Goddamn is a noun. Goddamned is an adjective. You are using goddamned to describe my mouth, which means it should be an adjective. 3) What is "hes"? 4) Sneeze has three e's. 5) When you are completely alone in a house and you sneeze, do you cover your mouth? 6) I apologize if you get sick due to watching a video where I sneeze.
Flipping Physics I didn't mean this seriously. Sorry if I made you think that I actually mind if you sneeze in your videos. I actually really appreciate your content and don't mean to insult you at all.
I don't know why your videos aren't more popular. They're extremely concise and informative. Many a test have been passed thanks to you!
