I use SketchUp and V-Ray on Windows :) I only read intro from Mac :D, but SketchUp works fine on Mac too. I'm not sure how it compares to using it on Windows with an NVIDIA graphics card

do you mean kitchen island? I create a block, than offset 5cm, and remove the inside part by pulling it out :)
