  • Come with me as I pick up ANOTHER project bike with this FREE Suzuki GS550L! This motorcycle just fell into my lap after a conversation with a friend of a friend. The man shown has been the owner since the early 80s when he bought the bike and eventually stopped riding it in about 1988. The bike is very complete and will be a fantastic project to help show you all how to get these old machines back to road worthy! I'm very excited about this one so be sure to follow along by hitting that subscribe button to know when I post new videos on this project!

Is chain drive but swing arm suspension with rear drum brakes and front disk brakes the same but for a square reserviour on handle. Has a rare Mikuni BSW30SS carb setup with two carbs serving 4 cyls. Got it to run but now struggling to start after removing and cleaning the carbs. Such a PIA with these airboxes that cannot even be removed. Thats impossible to answer without being next to the bike. To run an engine needs 3 things: fuel, air, and spark. Confirm which one its missing and go from there. Likely fuel but there are many things at play there so again its impossible to tell you whats wrong from my seat.
