Great road over the hill, I remember when you had to get aff the bike to open and close the gates before the installation of the cattle grids happy days.... stunning bikes Mr & Mrs Rondelli .....I really like Mrs Rs Yamaha FZR
Aye it used to be a bit of a pain but also made it feel a bit less like a main road.....if you can call it a main road. Aye the Yamaha was a great buy, low mileage so we will try to keep it for nice days and wear out the Nortons and Guzzis instead 🤣
Beautiful bikes on great roads Loch Freuchie? I am always amazed by the amount of foreign vehicles on this road The hairpins are indeed a challenge at low speed South Loch Tay road Kenmore to Jack McLean’s Killin ( if you remember Jack the Killin TO)is much improved with large sections resurfaced X
Thanks Iain, of course I remember Jack, I spent a week in digs in Killin after he passed away to cover him while they decided what to do with the section, a week in an alcoholic haze mostly! Kenmore is now like a busy beach area now, sadly overrun by tourists!
Great wee video Gino and Fiona. Thanks for posting. I remember back in the 80’s negotiating the hairpin only to find a car in the road. Driver and passenger both out, doors left open as they took photographs! Luckily I was only on my 120 Jota. Can you make your visor pop open with pressure? I can!
Ha ha, the Jota, such a forgiving bike with a featherlight clutch, I still say my Jota was the only bike I had to go have a lie down after a ride on it!!!
It's a puig, needs a bit of adjustment to get it on but its good, I think you have to move the tacho and speedo a little to get it to fit and some filing on the bracket to get it between the headlight and indicator stalk.
Rode Nortons over here in Colorado back in the '70s and '80s, the perfect bike for enjoying the varied roads of the Rocky Mountains...Oh, the joy.
I've ridden in Colorado, not on a Commando but I know what your saying 😊
Excellent Gino. That's a beautiful part of Perthshire and off the beaton track. Stunning and thanks for sharing.
Cheers Bill
