- I received my production Nosfet Apex. This video shows me getting all of the stuff out of the big cardboard box that the kindly FedEx guy brought me. This video also shows what the wheel looks like assembled.
My Next step will be to install the seat / trolley handle. So look for videos of installing the seat and the Apex out on the road. Just a spoiler, the Apex is the quietest wheel I have ever ridden. The suspension is nearly silent.
Looking forward to your ride thoughts 👍
That's a beautiful wheel!!
Nice Wheel, Enjoy😊
Happy early Christmas chucky!
That's an Awesome looking wheel! Can't wait to see it on the road!!
Congrats on your new wheel!
I have been playing arround in the snow on the wheel in Colorado. The suspension with the coil spring is the best I have ever felt. The Apex is very sweet.
Great vid charles!
I'm sure you figured it out but leaperkim transport mode is disabled by plugging in the charger or releasing the power button exactly when the count gets to 10! I had no idea until somebody commented and told me
🤘😎
Awesome i was hoping it would come with the fairing plates and bumpers, ewheels doesn't specify on the site. I'm waiting on mine to arrive! Did you ask them for the spring shock via email? I don't see an option for that either.
When I ordred the wheel from eWheels the spring option came up a ways into the ording process.
It's been 13 days my friend, eagerly awaiting thoughts and observations on ride, handling, and any maintenance you having to perform.
@@trowland9575 I have 136 miles on the Apex. The tire is finally breaking in where I trust it. I put the coil spring on the Apex, and that is way better than the air shock was IMO. I feel like it is more intuitive to time out the compression when jumping on the coil shock than it is with the air shock, or jumping with my Lynx, or jumping with my first EUC, the Patton. I feel more confident to pump, jump, and clear larger gaps on the Apex, than with any of my previous wheels. The Bioudux pads that came with the Apex from eWheels were a bit slick for my tastes, so I replaced them with some nice Grizzla. I also installed the trolly handle seat, when I changed out the shock, it works ok.
@charleskieser9740 , oh man, thank you!!!
I am curious what the Apex weighs with panels and pads (and the seat). Spec weight is 88.5lbs but I think it will be closer to 90 ready to ride.
I assume it's right around there with everything on it. Begode never specifies the weight with their included pads they just measure the weight of the wheel bare bones
With the Grizzla Pads and the seat it is probably 2lbs heavier.
