I saw this three jets flying while following each other in a straight line today and yesterday over Seattle. They were flying pretty low so You couldn't help but notice them. I wonder what they are doing.
Here's some obscure info for your reading pleasure. Southwest Airlines wanted to move it's passenger service from SeaTac to Boeing Field a few years back because apparently SeaTac is a horribly expensive facility from which to operate a passenger terminal. They (Southwest) have a long history of operating from secondary commercial airports (Houston Hobby, Love Field in Dallas, Chicago Midway) so at SeaTac they petitioned the operating authorities to move their operations from there to KBFI. They were turned down because KBFI has no infrastructure to handle parking, passenger auto traffic, etc. Pretty gutsy move from an airline that traditionally thinks outside the box but you got to give them kudos for trying.
TnDon Never knew that! It'd take a lot of kicking tenants and equipment out to be to handle the amount of people Southwest would've liked to put through BFI.
More click bait. Obviously the poster does not know the meaning of "at the same time". "At the same time" implies that the planes started their take off roll simultaneously, not one at a time.
Oh, oh, oh....yes! NOISE!!!!!! Thank you for uploading!
RyanBomar Quite a difference than the usual Dreamliners I spot!

Also doesn't know that F/A-18s are Navy-Marine Corps (these three are Marine) aircraft... not Air Force.
Same time: together, simultaneously. One after the other: in succession, in a row, not together.
these are going to marine squadrons :P
VMFA-112 Cowboys out of Ft Worth Texas
Reservists
is this a public plane spotting location?
Not anymore after Boeing expanded their final assembly parking area further south last year (2017)
