Well, vampires of old have a way to create what is known as “vampire spawn” which are vampires. But they are controlled through their own bloodline. Lambert was a fresh vamp so when he turned someone he couldn’t make pawns. It actually makes a lot of sense of how the older a vampire has more powers.
Like bram strokers dracula was in one place. And others at times. Leading people to think he could either teleport or fly. Dracula had his brides which he had control over. However in a few vampire books back in the day in order to survive a vampire bite and become one. You have to drink their blood. Anne rice in her books said blood plus being buried I think.

it's messed up how most of the information that we know on how to combat vampires and werewolves is movie and tv lore. lol
as far as the ritual, and i learned this from supernatural and buffy, getting bit by a vampire doesn't turn you, but drinking a vampire's blood or having its blood put inside you while you're bit does. it's called getting sired. but like in supernatural some of the myths about vampires that came from the movies don't work against them, and this movie reminded me of that. lol
dean got turned into a vampire, and it kind of worked the same way to turn him back human, but there was a time limit and deadline to do it. as far as werewolves, in that video game the quarry you had to unalive the head werewolf that sired everybody to break the curse.
abigail needs to be in a castlevania game quick.
what happens when a vampire bites another vampire and drinks their blood? do they become a super vampire 2?

Not gonna lie this one was a little hard to process cause I’m like you they be making vampire shit so weird and romantic to see your authentic vampire movie a couple of things that happen kind of threw me, cause i didn’t quite understand like you said why feed him blood if you bit him I don’t know. Maybe I ain’t up on the lore. I like that they keep trying to make stuff modern though that’s kind of cool.

Because just getting bit doesn’t turn you into a vampire, this isn’t the walking dead. Since vampire lore existed you have to taste THEIR blood to turn into a vampire. This isn’t anything new or remotely modern. Otherwise you just turn into their mindless slave. All vampire movies and books in existence follow this lore. From Dracula to interview with a vampire to the shit twilight movies.

Can I show you that you just made an ass out of yourself? Firstly what I think she meant when she said modern was the time period not the lore. Secondly, what your are describing is zombies, not vampires, never has a vampire became a mindless slave from a bite. Also let’s break down the “bites” in the movies you mentioned. Twilight is more reminisced of a snakebite the differences instead of death you turn into a vampire. When anyone gets bit in twilight the venom is what kills you and heals you, and you turn into vampire. You don’t have to bite the one who created you. But if we’re being honest, twilight is a vampire series in its own that makes no sense but I can tell from your comment you didn’t watch that or even read the book if you can read. The only one you got right was interview with a vampire but for context you still got it wrong, you see when Louie turned Claudia and Lestat turned Louie you have to drink the blood of the vampire who bit you IF you want to turn into a vampire. And even then, Louis and Claudia once again we’re not mindless slaves. I’m really thinking that you’re confusing your lore of zombies and vampires two different things. Now onto Dracula, depending on which movie you watch and which lore you pay attention to to get bit by Dracula means that you are now a vampire. With Dracula don’t have to drink his blood. It’s just a simple bite.
