Best presented storm presentation I've seen. No idea who this presenter is, but well done.
His name is Evan Noorani
he identifies himself in the video...
Thank you for the awesome coverage. Best weather coverage that I've seen all week.
This dude is the GOAT of weathermen.
Best coverage and explanation of the storm and its predicted pattern! I feel prepared and informed, thank you!!!
Great coverage- much better than Los Angeles news coverage
See, politicians and media? Look at all the positive feedback this meteorologist has been getting from the viewers for being truthful, informative and professional. Instead of instilling fear, this individual and CBS 8 San Diego are educating the public here. Thank you for the professionalism.
Fantastic coverage and breakdown
Someone should snatch this guy up for national broadcasts. He's great--knows his stuff.
Imagine being a San Diego weather forecaster, and for the first time in your career, you say anything besides "75-80 degrees and sunny..."
That's a misnomer. San Diego often has shitty weather - cold and gloomy and wet (during rainy years), just not catastrophic weather. I lived there 60 years; it's grossly expensive and overrated.
@@scottwaszak698no, no it's pretty much always 70-80 degrees along the San Diego coastline. You must live inland
@@stevenbrown5210 lol. No it's not. I grew up in Solana Beach. It's in the 50's-60's is the Winter, and shitty in much of May and June; warm enough but cloudy and grey and ugly. Live in Overland Parks, KS. Amazing how much prettier it is here.
San Diego weatherman is like "finally my time has come."
Woa good job weather man 👍🏽👍🏽
terrific presentation! … great job!! … i like this guy!!!
Excellent coverage! Thank you.
Great coverage!
Good job Evan.
Exceptional coverage ! ❤
Outstanding info
Thank you Evan 😘
After watching a bunch of different forecasts, this is my favorite. Awesome coverage. Thank you!
Hope the stray dogs in TJ are safe
No rain in TJ
I’m good, I’m still going to Hong Kong. Thanks for checking in.
Sorry por ti guero en tijuana nos sabemos defender y no depender de un Edison vAle mierda
Por favor you tuve los dedos abajo 👇 también muéstralos oh no des opciones de dar dedo abajo 👇
Why did they just update it and it says it’s going to remain a category 1 into San Diego
Take it from a Floridian...it's not a joke, and the majority of SD isn't taking it seriously at all! It's quite infuriating and sad to see the locals, including business owners, refuse to take precautions (boarding up and sandbagging). People out there are all smiles, doing the 🤙 and are all in complete denial. Now, no one is suggesting you worry yourselves to death, but do take necessary precautions to protect yourselves! This isn't just some intense thunderstorm...the actual eye of the storm is literally going to travel THROUGH the city of SD for crying out loud!! A tropical storm is still catastrophic and could do serious damage to the entire area. If it were a "tropical depression," then it would be nothing to worry about, but the people there really need to get a grip and wake tf up.
I was just vacationing in OB and had the privilege of driving around the entire city, becoming familiar with the different areas, so I'm quite aware of how the city is set up...and from the way the city is made, SD is not built to sustain what Hillary could potentially bring with a tropical storm...especially Coronado Island 😢 I wish the people there the best.
No bro go back to Fl if you scared
I hope everyone stays safe. The Gulf and East coast have been through it. Know that emergency officials cant always get to you until after the storm, so have a plan if water comes into your home. Also power and water sometimes off for days. (2 weeks during ike) so stock water and non perishable food
It looks like it's dying out and will be a rainstorm.
Guaranteed if sh*t hits the fan all those who didn’t prepare at all and are low on food and water are thinking they’ll just order door dash.
Simply the best!
I’m so happy you got my husband to clear off my patio lol 😂
husbands are slaves.
Lol right!
Thank you.
Stay Safe Everyone In San Diego From Hurricane Hilary 🌪
Thanks for the info !!!
Thank you!
Weve had steady rain in the high desert. I already have alot of accumulation thats not absorbing. Its already obvious we will have flash flooding. Stay safe everyone
When talking about windy destruction , it has a very appropriate name.
been thorugh this in so cal before. Just shut off the aut sprinklers on the lawn and don't bother to wash your car. it's a heavy rain at best.
They can’t handle 2” of rain, u crazy
@@rajncajn37 the issue is the ground is like rock. Imagine 2" of rain in a brief time on a tilted parking lot. The water runs down into the washes in the desert and creates flash floods and landslides. Areas that the trees are destroyed in recent fires, so there is nothing holding the water. If as predicted, this will be a heavy rain. so far it's been pretty gentle.
Does hurricane Hillary know that she needs a passport this time?🎉😮😂
This type of rain downpour increases the likelihood of earthquakes.
You are completely full of💩🤪😂🤣
Scientifically not proven. Lol
Who is this Guy? Excellent coverage....
Enjoying the cooler breeze and rain in HOT YUMA
Great thumbnail
@11:00, You guys did a great job preparing your community for the storm. If you had one, there may be more to come. Don’t eat all of your hurricane snacks, Californians. (Ask me how I know)
You do a break down
The winds are getting weaker but all that energy has bee5 transferred into water- brace yourself for historic rains!
How's Mexico doing?
Who cares
2 deaths so far
damn was hoping for it to be hurricane status
We use black plastic bags to line our toilets..using with with cat liter..in the event you rely on an electric pump for your well and your electricity goes out
Can we change the name before it dies out? I think its only right to protest in righteous justice . One more question is , does anyone know who names the Hurricanes every year?
Who cares
It’s awesome that a hurricane named Hilary is trashing Commieforna.
Hillary had a lot of bluster but her snails 🐌 pace has her losing her punch.
She might end up replenishing some of the local water reservoirs.
❤
Remember to watch for mudslides. Stay safe, everyone.

Theirs mixed answers I don’t know what to believe! Should I be scared? Idk!!
*sigh.* Do not worry too much, people try scaring you always.
You won't die, you won't lose anything too necessary...
Unless a home if your in the southern.
Just stay calm and don't overreact
No, they are scaring us making us believe this hurricane was happening.
@@unlikeable.1554 Exactly all of this stuff is a lie I ask my friends in mexico and they said no rain at all they are lying to us.
don't be scared
@@Jlis2025 Ok so let's be clear. You don't believe this hurricane (tropical storm by the time it reaches SoCal) is happening? Lets hear what your opinion in the next 24 hours. Lol.
Holy Moly, as usual, Big Ass Hipe job -- coming from the "uncertain" hiped up weather voices, one starts it all and the rest FOLLOW.
Is Anyone else getting use this pattern, bc if not y'all really oughta by now.

What a ripoff, I wanted a real storm. We never get any cool storms in San Diego

So nice to over prepare people!❤
Hey Joe did you find your bag of creamer in the white house
The city of San Diego's closing the parks and beaches until Tuesday
What about schools?
@@Martin-us1 I'm not sure about that. Hmmm...
No apologies yet when you cry wolf the next time nobody believes you. Yes it’s better to be safe than sorry. The governor issues a state of emergency. Why doesn’t he cut down all that brush that can lead to wide spread fires up north? Because it’s already burnt TF down but he prepares for a “tropical storm” like it’s nobody’s business. Lol from Florida.
Ftee Trump!🇺🇲
Interesting no talk about the wind speed? Sounds like this is a nothing burger.
9:15
That green is heavy winds, rain tornados lightning ⚡🌩️⚡⚡⚡⚡⚡
We’ll see tomorrow. Next week the Cajun Navy gonna be there
Max 50mph in the deserts is a nothing burg fur sure
A tropical storm is no big deal. I laugh at all the hysteria 😂
The whole country saw ya’ll lack of preparation on the local news. Hope ya’ll don’t need assistance, that would be hypocritical.
We’re good
Media needs to calm down over this (1) day storm 🤦♂️
"ITS THE END OF THE WORLD!"
Like bro calm tf down nobody is gonna die, peopld ALWAYS TRY SCARING PEOPLE i thought I was finna get blown away and die, however I'm in the northern we are expectingrain tonight.
It's always the ignorant who suffer worst. RIP commentor.

@@GregoryCunningham I am in the nothern so I'm not really worried over 0.5 inches of rain
They are scaring us making us believe this hurricane was happening.

Wrong
Yawn!! 😊
It must be nice to have a job where you can simply adjust for all the errors you made in the past. Now it hits earlier than you expected, so you were apparently not very good at predicting that yesterday.
Nothing is happening its ok
bs not even here yet
Ya’ll make no sense, don’t call for help tomorrow
@@rajncajn37who are we supposed to call? It’s a one day storm….
yes everyone acting like its fine or they not scared but never been in a real hurricane before

Mountains and deserts always have flash flooding during monsoon season. Nothing new!
Y’all guy gonna die!
