Another MellOverlanding journey... watch Part 1 here: ruclips.net/video/0YtKiAQI0go/видео.html Thanks for watching! See more here ruclips.net/p/PLmzj4XGk6kUgT54Wolz0uKM7PE8rZe-6j
I will say I came across your videos by chance and I couldn’t be happier I did. I go through many of the same things you do and just watching your videos alone have helped me in more ways than one. Keep up the great work and amazing videos !!
Really great balance of adventure, commentary, and humor. I grew up in Southern California riding dirt bikes in the desert in the winter months, and I really miss the unique beauty. Thanks for rekindling the memories!
Wow! Great video, I really liked it. Everything about it, the views, the narrative, the humor, it is all very well done. Thanks for all those hours it must have taken to put it together. I do like to avoid the crowds myself. I look forward to more videos. Thank You!
Roger, i absolutely love your channel. I am not into overlanding but it doesn't matter. You are entertaining, educational and enjoyable to watch. Thank you. Please don't stop. Who knows maybe i will get the bug. If so, it's all your fault. Lol. Just kidding.
😦 Not into overlanding?!? How dare you? 😆 It’s not for everyone. Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! If I may ask, how did you stumble upon my channel? The YT voodoo magic had a couple beers too many and pushed random content onto your homepage?
I camp. Have even went primitive camping back in the day. But now days i take the grandkids in my traveling bunkhouse and air conditioning mostly to Florida for the beach. Your style of camping reminds me of being in the boy scouts in my youth. And i loved it except pooping in the woods. I would give your adventures a try if i wouldn't get killed buying the extra equipment i would need for my comfort. I watched the things you need to get started video first. Still considering it. Loved it. I promise to continue watching. Really nice talking to you. Thanks for responding
Yeah it’s pretty much car camping but frequently changing camp locations. I definitely understand the comfort thing and how costly the gear can get. Thanks again!
Love it that you speak your mind! You say what some of us are thinking while driving which is more realistic to the whole journey side of things. From a former paratrooper, one of the tricks we used with guys who had issues popping ears with rapid elevation change is bubble gum, give it a try, it might work for you. Great trip, glad you divided it into a mini series, keep it up!
Wife had me try the bubble gum thing before and it didn't work 😩 but we used chewing gum, maybe that makes a difference? 🤷♂️ Thanks for watching and commenting again!
The algo gods brought me to your channel today and I'm glad they did. We are planning another trip to Death Valley soon, can't wait. Love your production work and will keep following.
Man...great video! That looked like a great trip, we got nothing like that here in Florida. Spam is almost a staple in our household.. especially my wife and kids. I had to cut down on it, because of "old people" problems.😅
Thank you for watching and commenting! Yeah, that SPAM and it's sodium levels... everything in moderation right? Except overlanding, never enough overlanding. Happy Holidays!
Another good video! Appreciate all of the work put into it. As far as the ears go, try using foam ear plugs. You get used to the muffled sounds after a while, but won't have the pressure problems. It works for me on airplanes.
Just bought a truck and building it up. Haven’t gone out yet on my first trip yet. Looking forward to showing my progress. Thanks for the videos…very helpful
Stuff happens... "you can plan a pretty picnic but you can't predict the weather." I complain about it sure, but it was still a good time. Thanks for watching again!
You went the wrong time to see the hexagon on the salt flat in Badwater. You have to see that after a nice rain. I agree, I love the national parks, but the number of people lately its just crazy in the main areas. Stay away from the main areas of Joshua Tree now.
Yeah, I’ve heard that NPs are especially crowded this year. I saw on the news that Yosemite has like a 4 hour wait at the entrance. Thanks for the info on badwater basin.
If this hasn't been suggested, here's what works for me: Hold your breath, squeeze your nostrils closed and blow out, so to speak, even though no air will escape, and your ears will pop, which clears them. I live at 7000 feet.

Thank you for joining the journey and I appreciate you taking the time to share your comments! More videos coming!
You have the best material of all the overlanding video I have seen... content, commentary, subject t matter and the best music. Good work!
Wow, that is extremely high praise and I'm not sure I deserve it but greatly appreciate it! Thank YOU for watching and commenting!

Just got your like👋. We hate the wind too and have had serious blows in Death Valley and Pinnacles.
Glad I’m not alone with hating the wind 😂

Loved the video man! Nice touch w the Mario Karts too. :)
👊 Thank you for watching and commenting. Good friends, Mario Kart and beer was a good Saturday night back in the day 🤪 Bomberman too!

@@ggg4runner Definitely true for majority of things. Merry Christmas to you too...look forward to more of your content.👍

I’ll try that. Thanks for the tip!
Love SPAM 🥰
you're my new friend then 👊

Hold your nose shut and push air out at the same time. That's how you depressurize when you scuba dive 👍 works the same when dropping altitude fast
I’ve heard that before but have chickened out trying it because it felt like my head was gonna explode lol. But, I’ll give that a shot, thank you!
It’s a gentle push of air tho!
@@ChopperChad 🤣 I’m just being a wuss
That’s called the Valsalva maneuver. Do it gently and try wiggling your ears it stretches the Eustachian tube. Love the vid, thanks!
Mike
Thanks for watching!
Wind is the enemy when desert camping. You guys toughed it out. Next time sesrch Saline Valley and weather if its windy cancel.😂

Spam and eggs are good.
Yes! We can be friends for sure 😂

I've heard that one before, try half way, start feeling discomfort and then wuss out 😅. I'll try it again next time.
@@ggg4runner Haha, it's the only one that works for me.
I love spam 😂
Yay SPAM! Thanks for watching!
Spam 👍
Heck yeah SPAM! Just had me some SPAM fried rice last night, yum.
Spam is too salty for me
I get that. There’s a “low sodium” version 😂
Antihistamine
Never thought of that; I’ll try it. Thanks for the tip!
