"Five Nights at Freddy's is a 2023 American supernatural horror film based on the video game series of the same name created by Scott Cawthon." From Wikipedia. IMDB also classifies it as supernatural horror. Regardless of whatever genre you say it is, it's still not very good.
You already know my opinion on Skinamarink, so I aint gon' beat a dead horse. Ngl, i was shocked to see it at number 1, but I get your reasoning, homie. Best: Dream Scenario or maybe Suitable Flesh. Didnt get a chance to see as many as I'd like to after I had to cancel Shudder, unfortunately.
Comparing this to the 2022 list, it's kind of a bummer, but it feels like even in terms of campiness enjoyablility, 2022's worst horror was better. Texas Chainsaw Massacre was awful, but at least was broken up by un-fittingly comedic points of the movie. Blood and Honey was just... yeah, kinda bland for the concept. Didn't really have the kills I'd expect to happen in the 1000 Acre Woods. Neither are really great but at least a few of them from 2022 were vaugely entertaining. Even though I like Skinamarink, I wouldn't go as far as to say it's something I'd willingly sit through without a huge chunk of time blocked off. Nope or Men I can at least throw on while I'm cooking and occasionally look up to say "oh, okay. They all have the same dude's face now. Weird. Back to seasoning."
Congratulations on the milestone. But still hard disagree on Nefarious, not even Christian, but I really enjoyed it even though most of it just takes place in the one room. I was very taken in by it. Otherwise I mostly agree. Tho, Knock at the Cabin felt more like a drama than horror to me personally so maybe I liked it more because it felt sincere. Best: Talk to Me or Bogeyman

Five Nights at Freddy’s is not a horror movie, it’s a thriller movie.

I think they were testing the waters for the first FNaF movie and the feedback they got on the first one is really going to up the horror aspect.
Five nights at Freddy’s wanted to be Willy’s wonderland so bad

Fnaf literally came out before Willy’s
(Fnaf came out in 2014, Willy’s Came out in 2021)

Yeah, it seems like the misses in 2023 were just unenjoyable slogs that can't even be used as background noise
@@GavinLovesHorror OH also, LOL at folks explaining childhood trauma to you, like all of us horror fans ain't already WELL AWARE of our own 😂 🤣
Nice Blackcraft hoodie.
Thank you! Love Blackcraft!
