    Great presentation and knowledge of the stove. I love watching a video where the person doesn’t just read the info book out. Love how you done a short demo and address other things like gas line adaptors. Cheers 🍻.

      Cheers @Faz, its usually the Coleman with their trademark regulator that hang off the side. Most other brands don't have them.

      Know where your coming from,I used to have a colman 2 burner stove with a regulator that used the disposable bottles. Was a great unit in summer time at my farm in Quandilla nsw but once the temp dropped I had to use it first to boil water so I could pour it on the regulator to stop it from freezing.

    Is it possible to get a hose fitting to go into a bayonet caravan gas connection?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  2 года назад

      It's not @mijangoz, this stove requires an unregulated gas supply. Caravan gas systems are regulated, so you wont be able to get enough gas from that to run this stove.

    Great presentation. Very informative. I am a first timer for this experience. And your information about POL to 3/8 adopter was helpful before I go to any store and purchase expansive camping gas bottle. Definitely it will save money if I buy adopter and use POL gas cylinder. Thanks 🙏

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  Год назад

      You're welcome! Aussie gas standards have changed, so POL has been replaced by LCC27, so just double check the gas bottle you intend to use.
      Some swap and go bottle will have the new fitting.

    I can’t decide between the Coleman Fyreknight or this. Can this one take the small propane bottles like the Coleman?

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  3 года назад

      You would have to get an adaptor to be able to run this from the small propane bottles, Bernie, but these aren't readily available. It is an easier process to switch the Coleman stoves between different bottle types than this Zempire stove.
      The only other thing to consider is that the Zempire stoves may work better at a low temp, whereas the Hyperflame stoves are a little more finicky when it comes to getting a low flame.

      I was looking at the Fyreknight as well but don’t like the idea of having to use their own regulator that sticks out the side. They have been prone to playing up and if you don’t have a spare you are stuck. This zempire looks better value for money to me.

    • @Jollyswagman7
      @Jollyswagman7 3 года назад

      @@garyhankinson5695 Yeh I am leaning towards that one as well but I want to be able to use smaller propane bottles when weight is a factor traveling also just like collecting them for the apocalypse😀

    • @garyhankinson5695
      @garyhankinson5695 3 года назад

      Bernie I use 2 x 2kg bottles but have a tray Ute so weight and space isn’t an issue. But even if you went down to the 1.25kg bottle you would get about 3 times as much gas as one of those smaller canisters and wouldn’t take up any more space than 2 or 3. Considering you would take at least 2 away with you a 1.25kg bottle wouldn’t take up any more space.

    What hotplate will fit on this stove??

    • @SnowysOutdoors
      @SnowysOutdoors  2 года назад

      There isnt a Zempire specific option, but the the Campfire Pioneer 3 Burner Gas Cooker Plate is a perfect fit, and its also reversible so has a flat hotplate side, and a grill plate side.

      Ben I tried the Coleman duel fuel burner for that same reason. But if you don’t start it right it seems to blow up in your face a bit. Maybe you have to get used to them but being petrol I sold mine as I wasn’t sure how safe they were. Others swear by them though so give them a go. Cheers! Gary
