Marine Raider: Easily one of the best infantry in the game, high survivable to their size, pretty good loadout in both versions although Door kickers are better 9/10 times. TOW Team: Always pick the Top attack version, because they do a stupidly amount of damage if they successfully hit their target even against T-14s also where is the TOW-2B for the Bradleys? CAAT Dragon: These guys used to be a meme until they buffed to give them a grenade launcher and 50 cal but they nerf them later on by removing their GL, rip but understandable although the Dragon range is kind piss compare to their Russian counterpart but at least they have 2 which allows them to overwhelm APS. Mech Rifleman AA: Until the US get another Stringer team that has two, these guy are you only option for infantry AA although they can fight pretty well on their own and can run, only having one Stringer hurts. LAV-AT: Don't underestimate these guys, sure their armour is awful but their speed and the amount of missiles especially their top attack versions make them deadly...they are like a glass cannon. M1A1 FEP: It used to be terrible compared to their SEP counterparts due to the lack of APS but then they buffed the penetration which makes it a surprising good cost-effective tank. LAV-AD: Your fast short-range AA that can also shred light armour and infantry, solid for the front lines. M163 PIVADS: I don't know why these guys have radar even though their real-life counterparts shouldn't have it but ok I am not complaining as it does make them solid SEED bait as they can survive getting hit although they suck at trying to shoot down jets. M6A4 M-SHORAD: Pick the Hellfire, it is easily the best at taking down not only helicopters but also tanks due to their nature of being top attack and yes they can one-shot helicopters besides maybe the Ka-52. I am not going to talk about artillery...it is mainly up to you guys. Osprey: Your fastest transport option, make use of the speed to do supply runs or help rapidly deploy squads to the frontlines. I am not going to bother with the Jets and the rest helicopters as they are mainly up to you.
I would agree with this. I would also add SRAWs due to cheap top attack. Due to price, you could stack 2 or 3 and sneak up on armor and just 1 tap it. Also 120mm mortar carriers are criminally underrated as they're super accurate, do decent damage but most importantly come with smoke. Smoke was extremely underused in the beta.
Wish that they eventyally add other nations. Germany, Britain and France could be fun nations to play around with. Modern day China would also be extremely fun given the wide range of vehicles they currently field.
There is still so much stuff missing from Demo Armoury, I know they didn't include all Battle groups, obviously no Apache, Little Bird, Stryker, B1B Lancer, AC 130 etc same for RU. I hope they will add B 52 Stratofortress since TU - 95 is in Russian deck again in Demo.
Can't wait for the Russian Battlegroups. Considering how advance the technology is I feel like this game will be somewhat different from Wargame for example, but no less good.
Personally I dont like the cav scouts in the Bradley and dont care for the BFIST either. Trade the BFIST for the recon SepV2 for the same thing but its much more deadly and its stealth/noise reduction do to it being recon means you can fire and kill things without being spotted. Also if the ATGM is fired at the tank the APS on the Bradley will not intercept the ATGM even if the Bradley is in the way of the missile. The extra HEAT protection on the side is pretty useful for protection from bombs and arty since they all do HEAT damage. Its not necessary but could be the difference between a bomb killing your tank with a miss or not. The cluster paladin also has laser guided rounds which are the copperheads. They are good but if you have the target lased then the Excalibur rounds will kill armor basically with the same effectiveness.
Again this was kind of the optimized battlegroup based on playing against experienced people with input from multiple people. Ofcourse adjust it to your liking
