To those who are planning on/ decide to comment, “It’s not that serious bro; I ain’t watching all of that; Go touch grass; 🤡 emoji” - whatever your intention is, just know that it won’t bother me, nor do I care. Be better and move on. Thank you.

Fortnite stopped marketing competitive in favor of the games longevity with the casual player base. All Fortnite is, is a advertising machine built to suck as much money from you as possible and honestly it sucks its built this way because the game is great.
I think Fortnite changed after covid, they were focusing on competitive and even had another world cup in the works,
in general it seemed like Fortnite was experimenting with competitive more and more, but when covid hit I think everyone being at home paired with the best season arguably ever (ch2 s2) led to the casual player base exploding which then led to Fortnite focusing on collabs and making money rather than the storyline and competitive.
its a damn shame because Fortnite was the thing that put esports in general in the spotlight with mainstream media, even my grandma was talking about the kid that won 3 million from a video game
TL;DR Fortnite decided to focus on longevity and marketability, rather than making the game an e sport.

Great take and explanation! I enjoyed reading it. It is a shame that they stopped storytelling throughout continuous seasons, but it looks like they are starting to bring a little bit of that magic back in chapter 5, though like you stated, it’s still heavily favored towards marketing and collabs. W reply.

Agreed game don’t hit the same anymore and it really will get you behind in life especially if you not putting 100% effort into going pro

Indeed, I myself am still recuperating from the loss of living life outside of the gaming scene. Though, if someone is to grind, it’s important to focus on improvement before any thoughts of going pro.

Good video, but here's just a little advice if you want to grow and get more views. As a small creator it's hard to keep people interested in your opinions for so long, which is bad for retention, so RUclips won't promote your video. I'd recommend doing shorter videos to start to gain an audience. You could take all of the points from this video, and make 5 separate videos that will perform much better.

I appreciate the tip and advice. As I mentioned in the description, this video is more like a podcast. My intention for this video was for it not to be as long as it turne out to be, though I feel everything in here is important and critical to get the best out of the topics and points.

I would be lying if I didn’t say it wouldn’t bother me if RUclips wouldn’t promote my video due to viewer time retention, because I do want more people to discover my vid and watch and listen.

0 Ping and high FPS are all you need to go pro, the higher your FPS and lower your ping the less skill you actually need to kill other players. It's easy to kill players when they can't hold a wall against you. Your weapons shoot faster, do more dmg, and bleed through builds, not to mention you can just walk through walls if you want when you're on low ping. Low ping by itself won't qualify you, you also need high FPS (240-360). The current Fortnite Pro players all have the best PC specs and low ping (0-30), the lower your ping the faster your game registers in conjunction to those around you. Tie this into high FPS (Frames Per Second) which literally translates to how fast your game processes and you understand why pros don't fall off. Kenbeans and Jivan consistently earn but have average mechanics and game IQ, a perfect example of low ping high FPS>Overwhelming skill. Out of over 1,000,000 competitive players there has only been ONE 100+ Ping pro (Muz) (Who earned once on 180+ Ping before getting his region lock off) and ONE TIER ONE Pro on 40+ Ping (Peterbot). Although muz got insanely lucky it's worth mentioning to show it is possible, just not probable, Peterbot has one of the best PC specs alongside his unparalleled mechanics and game IQ, If you want to go pro, get 0 ping and 240-360+FPS, with those specs your only competition will be other players with similar builds, fortunately for you, they're rare and unless you're in a finals lobby or super unlucky in opens, you will run into less than 3 each match (Assuming you're in mid-high elo)
