Tiger Woods owes me a beer. I went up there for the 2004 PGA Championship. Tiger hit a shot out of the bunker. The wind blew sand in my beer. Beautiful course. FYI if you go up there to spectate an event, wear some shoes with spikes and good ankle support. The gallery part is mostly tall hills.
That was cool and the bunker on #6 is no joke. I've sat at that green during the pga and also the ryder cup waiting to see some carnage, lol but the pros always avoided it while i was there. Unbelievable course with about 1000 bunkers total. Crazy.

I had the same issue last Saturday. Started with a birdie then went down hill from there on ………that’s golf. But a bad day of golf is still a great day.
karol goes car to teebox on one of the hardest courses in usa. Those coastal holes need precision . Try moving your ball back in stance with your driver. wont double cross so much ❌❌.

Had the pleasure of playing Whistling Straights 20 years ago. Awesome course. David Feherty was in the pro shop while I was in there looking around. I remember being in a similar bunker to what you were in and couldn't get out.

Really enjoyed the vlog today, yet even though you may have not had your best scoring day out there on the course the best thing is that you had a very good time out there playing with the member..:) Plus you learned a good lesson today or were reminded of one, never birdie the first hole if you want to shoot a good round..:)
Amazing course. Played there in June in a 35mph wind. We got the snot kicked out of us but it was a great experience. Looks like you stayed at the American Club! Good choice! Did you see the sheep?
The wind kicked up later in the round and it was brutal! The American club was such a cool place. I didn’t see any sheep unfortunately but definitely a bunch of cheese curds lol
would you pick 2 subscribers from the lower 48 states to play on their home course. if you come back to Wisconsin you could play University ridge where the Senior tour was held.
So with Claires help you were able to drive your ball and hit greens and fairways..... Interesting. Reading the greens is very difficult but always just try to get it close to tap it in. Just aim to par a course and let the birdies and eagles come when they may. Good luck Karol
