This was a great video and made me feel like I could become real interested in the watch scene. It was a shame hoping to see growth after this first video and seeing you threw in the towel so quick. Think this genuinely has something I haven’t found yet that connects to me at 30 years old, having different tastes and cultural references. In the past I’ve subconsciously got the vibe that the world of watches feels like a bar you know not to wander into if you don’t know anyone in there.
Most of my life has revolved around skateboarding which tbf is probably an even more intimidating scene to get involved in. That being said I don’t have a problem with that aspect. I completely understand why a group who’s extremely dedicated to their passion can be wary of the motives behind newcomers interest.
Point is, I think you’ve got something here. I felt strongly enough I left this rambling comment in an effort to get my point across that I think you could educate and get a younger audience interested in this topic. I’ve always found watches extremely intriguing from a young age but I never felt a communal connection to it.
There’s a lot of people my age genuinely interested in the culture and history of fashion and designer goods but seem to lack any connection or deeper layer of knowledge when it comes to watches.
Take it or leave it, just hoping to add some constructive information ✌️🫠 Also, might be worth checking out the channel @Threaducation to see the potential of educating a younger audience on topics similar to this.

A great insight, thank so much for that.
Such a shame that these will never now be owned by “normal” collectors, only the Uber-Rich. Hey ho, we can appreciate them from afar instead 🙏
