The reason we follow mate is you make us laugh 🤣 always true 👍. Good work on getting the pesky critters eradicated mate hope they stay away for a bit longer this time . If your using brick acid always water down and use a spray bottle . Will burn the fish if gets into water system neat . Good luck on koi show Lee , never know what could happen 😉

My missus has jalapeño's on pizza and takes them off, she says you get the flavour without the pain. I tried it and she's right. I've had the smaller oase drum for 5 or 6 years now on my 3500 gallon pond it does the job but in the summer it goes of every 5 minutes. I wish I'd got their big stand alone drum. I already had a moving bed. So I didn't need the one in the compact. If you're changing your filter you might consider getting a big separate drum and add your own moving bed.
Might be worth moving your UV to the drum. (Or adding an extra one in there). Heard a few people saying it keeps the screens spotless and stops any discolouring.
Hi ya mate the salt won’t hurt I’d take it to 0.4 you can take it higher but it takes an age to get out 😩when you come to Coventry for the national are you staying over mate ? Glad to hear those pesky flukes are gone , your pond is lovely but I know what you mean I think you want a bit more surface area ? But it I was you I’d definitely repeat the filter house design that’s in your current pond it’s such a good feature to have over winter 👍🏻

@@leehadfield6881 I got hit by an IED north of Balad Airbase in Iraq many years ago but was lucky to have automatic sound deadening earplugs in. Best bit of yank kit I procured from their med stores in Kirkuk 😁
Had to do a cheeky short hit because off the show! Could not leave it that long so I could get the fish back on the food for a week before the show!!!!

Lee, the Yagengi Utsuri is definitely the better fish Lee even if the sumi is deeper. The Sashi is sharper and the body shape is better imo. The Tanagucci Sanke is beautiful, their is a beautiful lustre on this fish. I don't think the semi will make a difference, you may get a strike for pattern but don't concentrate on the negatives mate. That Gin Ran Goshki is the monkeys nuts mate. Your conditioning will eliminate the pink shiroji, especially when you start the feeding again Lee. The salt will help mate, it will definitely help with the conditioning after the treatment cycle they've just endured mate. Gunt and Gilly 🤣😂🤣 Looking forward to the big reveal for the next filter system, you've got me intrigued. Good luck at the national mate. New end tile looked mint by the way.
