Yes, it affects performance. It gives you more horse power because the exhaust air is not compressed and exits out faster...about 5 more or less horses. Totally worth EVERY PENNY!
eBay. I have the same front. The grille was $40 , the first front lip that attaches higher on the bumper is $136, and the second lip on the edge is a regular splitter they usually go for about $40-60.
Nice video 😎 actually watching to see if I'd like to switch from stock since I've done nothing to it and after putting new struts on yesterday I was cruising around and downshifted then the car got loud lmao. separated right before rear end flange where the spring bolts are. and when I say separated I mean completely broke in half 🤣🤣 was my mom's car previously and lots of stuff rusted....had to actually drill out all the screws holding the rotors on because they were just gone ...good times oh yeah and love your wife's car 🥰, mine has the rounded back end. I like the style on hers better
I replaced my exhaust on my 8th gen civic SI. I installed the OEM ExhAust and for some reason it sounds like its loose as in the exhaust is moving around. You say its just holded up by hangars and also on mine its just hangars but i cant understand why it sounds like if its loose and about to fall off
If you're new to modding, catback is always the best place to start. It's not like a full system. You're only changing the reso and muffler, meaning it just opens up the flow of the original factory exhaust and makes it louder. It's a nice, cheap way to get that aftermarket "racer" sound without going gusto paying for all that stuff others have under the hood. Full exhaust swaps, depending on the vehicle, aren't normally - but can be tricky. I've heard horror stories of some exhausts commonly found on eBay where the headers didn't align properly like the stock manifold, pipes or other parts being mixed with wrong model ones etc. Always check the source reputation and for a popular or well known brand name. A full exhaust may require intake modification, gapping or bypassing your oxygen sensors and or cat, because the gases exceed or do not meet the safety standards for your vehicle. Most imports have full systems designed to manufacturer specs. They aren't the cheapest, but installation is easy and most of them sound a lot better. For generic systems, there are plenty of DIY guides for most vehicles if you're interested in a full exhaust, and the parts to get the car SMOG-ready are pretty cheap. It's usually just a pack of rubber o-rings and some washers added to your sensors, or just re-routing a wire harness to make a necessary bypass.
Hey quick question I have a Honda Civic 2007 I’ve been looking for a bumper with fog lights but I just can’t find one they say the the model LX does not brings a bumper with fog lights I was wondering if a bumper from an SI would fit in my would you know??
Bumper should fit, but just get the ebay fog light kit and install them or take it to a shop and ask them. I have a 2008 lx. Took it to my local tune shop and they installed the fogs with switch and everything. Can't remember how much I paid but it was less than $150 before the fkn virus
@@caydeisclutch2589 A resonator is straight through. Its like the cannon muffler. Its just longer and beefier. If you modify any 4 cylinder you need one in the system. Toes down the rasp and high pitch.
@@MetalRocker94 you noob. A resonator restricts exhaust flow. It is "straight through" the exhaust, it is not a "straight pipe" system. A straight pipe is just that. A straight pipe, without restriction. Why would they tone down the sound they're trying to create? That's just stupid.
@@caydeisclutch2589 And I'm the noob? Resonators don't restrict exhaust flow. They flow just as well as a cannon muffler. They just change the tone. You can have a system that flows just as well as straight pipes but sound so much better.

I love that front bumper
The N1 style exhaust for the R18 civics are either a 2.25 diameter or 2.50 diameter pipe

Put a resonator in the system to tone down the rasp. That little one is a fake. Its just a flared piece of pipe.
