He won the WEC title, but because their policy was that both fighters had to make weight for it to be a title fight, he didn't get the belt cause Filho missed weight. Filho felt bad and sent him the belt in the mail.
@@NotKimiRaikkonen Oh, I know all of that for sure, and I think Sonnen deserved the title, shouldn't have to pay for Filho mistakes. I just think today's Chael has gotten too close to the Forest to see the trees. When the reality of his career, wasn't that he was the best in the ring or smartest in the cage
.his career is great entertainment and funny lines, that's what he'll always be known for. So while he's sitting on this show getting fighter names, weight classes and records wrong, sometimes reality is important. He was a journeyman, not even a gatekeeper
