Because I was born on the 4th of July I was having addiction troubles and after not sleeping for days, The Dj's on different radio stations were talking shit about me (drug induced psychosis i guess but it was very real and went on for months) this song was the top hit that summer in the peak of my completely losing it. and I felt like I was "in a crossfire kind a new reality show" the disease was my addiction.His buddy's Ok and so am I.thanks Jason.
This is over 10yrs or so ago, before he got big or released this track, he seem's the same person now as he was then, if a little more private though, his blogs were beautiful and the only change I can see is he evolved mentally, emotionally, spiritually and his talent.....damn. He was born to do this, his words/music bleed positivity so in effect he is giving LOVE to the world, funny really, one of the good guys in this industry (of monetary musician puppets) he is a rare breed of guy.

The Remedy hadn't been a rock song yet, and I'm Yours was on one of his earlier albums. The mainstream you speak of came way later, after years and years of obscurity.
He told a brief version of this story in Salt Lake City at Abravanel Hall...I was running a spotlight at this show and he made me cry more than once during the show. Which is to say it was a little harder to focus my lamp where it should have been....his Crew were good sports, I think they could tell. Certainly it couldn't have been the first time! This guy is too good to be true but there he is anyway. And the world and I are better for it. Thank you.
Havent followed your music a lot since the remedy but i would like to thank you for helping an 8 year old me deal with my grandfather dying and my aunt dying of cancer in 03 just by listening to this song on the radio

I first heard of this guy through a mutual friend, I'm a writer & he told me to check this guys blog out, I fell in love with his words, how he ended his blogs referencing the moon meeting you faithfully every night wherever you are, that constant, I admit his words hooked me, he has a beautiful yet intriguing mind, a while later I heard "Remedy" then got a crush on him as a person, such an intelligent, spiritual, beautiful man. Im lucky to have heard of him before he got big, he did not change.
Fame is not everything Jason L., Jason Mraz dose have earned some money on his music. So he can keep doing what he loves, and that is making music, live life and contribute to the world with his fantastic music. PEACE! :-)
