I am studying for my Linux Essentials exam and this Hack Tip was very useful as I was wanting something to practice to get use to using grep and using pipes.
I like this girl. I've been using Linux aince 97 & have over 300 bug/fix reports on 6 Distros but yet, still watch. She gets so excited over the basics.
The forth person Im trying to understand what are pipes, filters and grep ment from and the first one succeed. Thank you !

What was your problem with dualbooting? Most dualbooters I know, myself included, reach the point where they use windows for games (and the odd windows only software, like photoshop), and linux for everything else.

This is cool. I recently used a filter for arp poisoning. (In a sandboxed Lab Of Course)
It replaced any html img = image> On the web with a photo that I chose to use.

So is 'grep' same as the * wild card..I mean in place of using 'grep zip', can't we use "*.zip" ?
madhawan misra no grep is the command that searches. You enter your search string after entering grep.

Linux :) Unix is very hardware specific. Besides, Linux is very similar to Unix.
