For a long time this movie was scarce and only available in VHS. It has recently been released in DVD format by Warner Brothers - available at their online store or at Amazon etc.
I was completely shocked and saddened when I learned on January 7th, 2018 that Jerry Lem had passed in December of 2017. Jerry was so respectful, caring, and disciplined in his role of Curator of the Inger Stevens Memorial web site. No one ever had a better champion. I hope the spirits of these two fine human beings meet and continue in a better place. Godspeed.
Today is the 50th anniversary of Inger's passing and she is still remembered by so many, and being discovered by younger generations. I plan to upload a video to mark the occasion (though me and my equipment are pretty rusty at this process) and to acknowledge Jerry Lem who was such a dedicated caretaker of her legacy for so many years. Thanks to all who have watched my videos all these years. Hold a memory for Inger today.
April 2013: Be sure to visit Jerry Lem's Inger Stevens Memorial web site (thru May 4) and view his 2013 tribute. There are exclusive rare photos of Inger and other artifacts that give an insight into the qualities she possessed that make her worthy of our remembrance.
Be sure to check out a new Inger Stevens tribute "Still More Inger Stevens" posted by my fellow Inger fan lemster2024. He is curator of the Inger Stevens Memorial web site. His tribute features some rarely seen photos plus an audio clip of Inger singing a traditional Scandinavian lullaby.
Jerry Lem, Curator of the Inger Stevens Memorial Web Site, informs me that Inger's second husband Ike Jones has passed away. There is an article about him in the October 11, 2014 edition of the LA Times. Thanks Jerry.
Greetings - just a note about comment posting. I have retained comment approval on the videos that pertain to Inger Stevens. There may be a delay in seeing your comment appear. Sometimes I just plain miss seeing them, and sometimes I don't approve them at all. Inger is survived by many friends and family and, as these videos are intended as a memorial to her, I simply want to keep things as clean as one would expect at any memorial. Thanks, and hope you understand.
Inger's niece, Athena Ashburn and her husband, now have their own You Tube channel - 20DollarShow. See three original episodes that feature a Twilight Zone flavored mix of eerie story lines delivering a timely social comment. Also see the article on Inger Stevens done by Gary brumburgh in Classic Images magazine and visit his You Tube channel - gbrumburgh.
If you are an Inger Stevens fan, or just curious about her, I urge you to visit Jerry Lem's website today, Monday, April 30 2012 to view his special gallery tribute on the anniversary of her passing. I promise you won't be disappointed! A link to his site is in the video description above.
You have lots of company :-) This movie may have been her strongest dramatic performance. The bedroom scene that follows this one, in my judgement, is a bit too much for You Tube. There is sexual content and very slight nudity. It is a raw, visceral and emotionally startling scene. I honestly don't believe ANY actress could have done it better. And many legendary actresses probably would not have done it as well as she did. She had that much talent.
Today, April 30, is a day many of us take to remember Inger Stevens. Here's to you, Inger. Lovely lady! Remembering Jerry Lem today, December 23, 2019. Rest in Peace my friend - the best caretaker of a legacy that any celebrity ever had.
very well acted scene by both actors--this is a text book example of 'being in the moment' all you actors!!
Take a moment today - Monday, October 18, her birthday - to think of Inger. Still remembered, still loved, still missed.

No reason not to mention the name that I can think of, other than a dumb oversight on my part - the movie is called "A Dream of Kings"
Movie name ?
