This presentation from Ron Touw was really excellent. So many important things from Wi-Fi environment. It is worth to see it again. Thank you.
I just love his English! Typically British, but easy and clear to understand anyway...
His voice reminds me of Nick Frost (specifically when Mr Frost was explaining Call of Duty on the The Graham Norton Show).
fantastic presentation, we need more of those people who can present topics like this. thanks Ron
very nice presentation ! Never thought like that ! It is one of the most instructive presentation I watched from Mikrotik.
+1
The best video I've seen on the topic. Most well done.
Excellent presentation on WiFi theory!!! I'm expecting to see more on the applications utilizing Mikrotik products. Thank you.
Switched my router from 20/40/80 on 5ghz to 20/40 while watching the video and its now usable (and stable!) upstairs
This is a masterpiece
Very nice presentation, not only for MikroTik users. i would have some questions on this presentation, is there somewhere i can ask ?
I keep picturing Ron as Marvin from Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy.
Great presentation!
Excellent! Well done!
55:08 - I would like to know how to use different vlans with a single SSID
You can create an access list and define a VLAN per device. He talks about doing in RADIUS, but I only have few clients and set it manually in CAPsMAN.
As he says i dont like WiFi, maybe in my case because i still dont end up understanding all of its many variants and things that can affect it
Funny thing: my Smartphone does also support 80mhz bandwith. (Oneplus 8 Pro)
Can we all agree to stop saying "rooter"? It's "rauwter". That's why it's spelled "router"
I say "rauwter", but the object of a router is to find routes which can be pronounced either root or rawt as far as I know
