- This song definitely IS AN ENEMY to every K-pop songs!
Here we are after Xdinary Heroes' Pluto from Livelock album.
Now, our 4th track ENEMY. There were lot of interesting elements that made this song unique compare to other Xdinary Heroes songs. You can clearly see from our discussion that even WE had different opinions and thoughts. And that's the beauty of Xdinary Heroes songs!
We said in the previous Pluto reaction video, that the song sounded totally different from their usual style, but definitely still not generic.
But for Enemy, it seems like the song contains both "the unusuals" and "the unexpected 'Xdinary' style of sounds".
We found it extremely interesting that depending on the POV, and the scale of your focus, the song could come across very differently. As usual, another masterpiece from Xdinary Heroes! Pluto is probably my favorite from the entire album but enemy is a VERY close second.
Xdinary Heroes are music geniuses to me, I like absolutely everything they put out and I'm in admiration 🤭 We're yet to be disappointed with them!!!
You're pretty correct with the observation that they went for poppier elements, this is their poppiest album in my opinion, but even then they were able to put their own spin to it.
I do agree that it feels like a song out of a soundtrack. They do have an ost track they did for a webtoon called wego wego, it's a pretty solid song.

there is a part of the instrumental 1:50 that's the same as one of the ost for the anime Bleach

이 곡의 드럼스틱 소리가 정말 매력적이라고 생각해여. 늘 그렇듯 명반인 엑디즈의 이 앨범에서 정말 하나를 골라야 한다면, 저는 고르고 골라서 “엔팝 라이브 플루토” 입니다! 뮤비의 오토튠도 몽환적이고 좋지만, 라이브 무대에서는 보컬이 더 담백하게 귀에 꽂혀서 뮤비나 음원보다 더 많이 들었어요. 플루토 리액션때 비교해주셨음 했는데.. 아쉽지만 남은 곡들도 너무 좋으니 다음 영상도 기대할게요! 드디어 정규 1집이 가까워지네요! 정규1집 리뷰전에 엑디즈의 킬러 배드로 ost wego wego 리뷰도 있을까요?? 늘 잘 보고 있습니다!!
