    you can see weight in addons for arctic vr weapons such as the snipers or an LMG as they have weight and are slow to turn and move

    gordon should NOT be able to pick some of these things up with just one hand

      we should be grateful these objects even have weight now; previously gordon picked them up and acted like they have *zero* weight (all while picking them up one handed!!) but now gordon's physics defying antics are coming to an end

    I would like to ask, does it simulate a center of mass, or just caps the speed at which the object can be manipulated?

      I think source objects always have a center of mass in their... visual center, you know.
      every object in the he has a "weight" parameter, so this mod uses it to simulate heavy objects by, you are right, making speed caps for carriable objects

      I never saw any object turn itself to some exact position, so probably center of mass is same for every one of them

      this is explained in the addon's description; this isnt 'real' weight like in boneworks, it just limits how fast you can move your hands to imitate weight in a cheap way

    if this were released in an update could you give players the option to disable it. its a cool proof of concept and it looks really fleshed out but sometimes feeling like a god and throwing things around as if you were super strong is fun :)

      it won't be an update to vrmod itself; this is a standalone addon, so you can disable it any time you want
