ADITI (Acing Development of Innovative Technologies with iDEX) Scheme
ADITI is a sub scheme of iDEX (Innovations for Defence Excellence)
ADITI - Acing Development of Innovative Technologies with iDEX
Launch Date - March 04, 2024
Ministry : Ministry of Defence under iDEX program
Launched by : Rajnath Singh
Budget : 750 crore
Time Period : 2023-24 to 2025-26
It aims to develop about 30 deep-tech critical and strategic technologies in the proposed timeframe.
It also envisages to create a ‘Technology Watch Tool’ to bridge the gap between the expectations and requirements of the modern Armed Forces and the capabilities of the defence innovation ecosystem.
In the first edition of ADITI, 17 challenges - Indian Army (3), Indian Navy (5), Indian Air Force (5) and Defence Space Agency (4) - have been launched. Quantum of Grant up to 50% of product development budget (PDB) with maximum limit of Rs. 25 Crore, leading to a PDB around Rs. 50 Crore or beyond.
Smart Cities Mission
Launch Date : 25 June, 2015
Aim : The main objective of the Mission is to promote cities that provide core infrastructure, clean and sustainable environment and give a decent quality of life to their citizens through the application of ‘smart solutions’.
100 cities have been selected to be developed as Smart Cities through a two-stage competition.
Electric Mobility Promotion Scheme (EMPS) 2024

For faster adoption of electric two wheeler (e2W) and three wheeler (e-3W) to provide further impetus to the green mobility and development of electric vehicle (EV) manufacturing eco-system in the country.
NPS Vatsalya
Announced : Union Budget 2024-25 (July 23, 2024)
Launch Date : 18 September, 2024
Launch by: Nirmala Sitharaman (Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs)
This innovative saving-cum-pension scheme, regulated and administered by the Pension Fund Regulatory Authority of India (PFRDA).
Minimum & maximum contribution :
Account Opening Contribution: A minimum of ₹1,000 is required to open the account, with no upper limit.
Subsequent Contributions: A minimum of ₹1,000 per annum is required, and there is no maximum limit on the amount that can be contributed.
Vivad se Vishwas scheme, 2024
Announced : Union Budget 2024-25
Launched by : Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT)
Effective Date : 1st October 2024
Aim : To resolve pending appeals in the case of income tax disputes
The DTVSV Scheme provides for lesser settlement amounts for a ‘new appellant’ in comparison to an ‘old appellant’.
The DTVSV Scheme also provides for lesser settlement amounts for taxpayers who file declaration on or before 31.12.2024 in comparison to those who file thereafter.
Four separate Forms have been notified for the purposes of the DTVSV Scheme.
