I hated it when my husband pardon me, ex-husband dragged me to the original Ghostbusters. I traveled all over kingdom come at the time to get my son, all of the Ghostbusters toys series, one and series 2 of the Ghostbusters themselves but it’s been a long time, and for some reason that defies logic, I want to see this movie. And I miss Harold Ramis.
Gee's... I loved Ghostbusters - Legacy! But... This I must watch in cinema! This is epic! Yes I'm old, I'm jaded, but I love this film!!!!

2016 version wasn't canon this is the real Ghostbusters no pun intended for the animated series but you get the point this is the og Ghostbusters I grew up with I miss being a kid I miss the 80s and 90s when movies tv shows were something to look forward to and when a kid could be a kid I have high hopes for this movie to recapture my childhood memories being young seeing Ghostbusters 2 for the first time
Only thing missing is egon!! Harold would be proud.

From that one particular scene with Peck or as Peter called him "pecker", I'm guessing Pecker is the mayor of NY City now in this film. God I hope not though cause he was pest after shutting down the containment unit in the first film

This...this...brings tears to my eye. With all the crap going on in the world today, finally there is something worth looking forward to. One more adventure with Peter, Ray, Winston and the family. I, too have been waiting 40 years for this.
Same. Having a familiar feeling from my younger ages. I use to love the original so much when i was a kid i wore out two vhs tapes. It makes me feel safe and comfortable in such crazy times.
Time for the busters to make a fully comeback with fresh ideas and new/old faces : )

I remember watching Ghostbusters: Afterlife - the scene where Egon's ghost appears to help his granddaughter brought me to tears. So well done. And the OG guys' reaction was so sweet.

I was hoping they would show the Boogieman, Samhaine, Ghostmaster, etc as the main villain. But noo.... they want to introduce a completely new ice villain.

Wished the WHOLE original team was in this. You cant beat the originals. With all the remakes that have seemed to flop. I hope this one does the movie justice. Cant wait to see this.

The fact they still have the old team and Anne Potts in a suit lol awesome also anyone else love the drone trap that flew I thought that was awesome and it comes out this month. If he's your favorite, then you might want to learn how to spell "Slimer". Because he's certainly not slimmer by any stretch of the imagination.
I have loved the Ghostbusters ever since I was a little kid and the movie looks fun. But what is going on with the proton stream? In the last movie, Gozer was able to grab the streams, rip them apart, and use them to whip people off their feet. And now these streams of energy can be frozen like ordinary matter? I can suspend disbelief on a lot of things, but this just seems silly.
So…..Gozer is a god so im pretty sure they can alter the fabric of reality in small waya

I was glad when they made the 3rd Ghostbusters movie but the real Ghostbusters didn't show up until the last part of the movie,this one looks really good I'm looking forward to seeing this
I like the new movies because they remind me of the first two. I don’t understand one thing though. Why is Finn Wolfhard in these movies? His character doesn’t really do much. Why is he having such a difficult time learning how to drive?
If the producers do make a third movie, and I hope they do, I hope they trim the cast. Keep the plot simple, use as few characters as possible, and make sure everyone is having fun. Ghostbusters Frozen Empire was fun but the movie could have been called Ghostbusters: Spengler’s and Friends.
Finally I wish the surviving Ghost Busters would be more present. I’m sad that Ivan Reitman died. Maybe things will never be the same.
Are my eyes deceiving me or am I seeing the city of Chicago? I know the original was in New York and it could still be in New York but I know my tall buildings in Chicago and I’m telling you that’s what it looks like.

Ghostbusters is the best movie in history but it was the only good movie in my collection so I’m gonna have a good time watching it
