You interpreted very well and I believe the fundamental of this symbol is the ascending energy.

I have a bindrune, inguz with Isa through the middle, which in turns it into algiz, plus several other runes, six in total

So what if its displayed upside down? Does it have the same meaning?

Not quite sure, but it wouldn't be the Algiz.

In my experience inverted runes can have inverted means OR mean you should pay greater attention to the upright meaning of the rune.

The upside down version could also be ᛦ “Yr” - Younger Futhark. It depends, you need to clarify internally before you proceed with divination.
