I really enjoyed this video and I'm glad I'm not familiar with most these albums! Here are my 3 picks: Electrafixion (the band of Echo & the Bunnymen members Ian McCulloch and Will Sergeant) released only one album (Burned, 1995) and the following year they reformed E&tB. Last Exit - Iron Path (1988). This avant-free-jazz supergroup released several live albums but only this studio. Brainville, a fantastic supergroup, featuring Daevid Allen (Gong), Hugh Hopper (Soft Machine), Pip Pyle (National Health) and Kramer (Bongwater) released only one studio album, "The Children's Crusade" (1999).
A couple I thought of including a couple of obscure aussie 70s acts. Start with an obvious/cheat one Supernaut - Selftitled (if you don't include the album they released as the nauts after they relocated) Desert Rat (Think a Melbourne band album from 78) U-Turn - Living In The City (Possibly from Sydney but not sure and released in 77) The Bureau - Only For Sheep (Selftitled in other parts of the world) Cheetah - Selftitled Russell Morris and the Rubes - Almost Frantic Last one more recent and only album this supergroup have released The Barbstomers - Selftitled (I think this rockabilly album really suits the current state of Jimmy's voice)
Nice mention of the GPS album, as well as the Beckley Lamm Wilson “Like A Brother”. I also have the Tony Banks “Strictly Inc” album. Your list includes a good mix of albums I don’t know. My list is more obvious: 1. Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe 2. GTR 3. Emerson Lake Powell 4. Three 5. Carl Palmer’s PM 6. Blue Jays (Justin Hayward and John Lodge) 7. Tinted Windows (Bun E Carlos ,Adam Schelsinger, Taylor Hanson, James Iha)
Those first 4 were on my longer list, but I cut them because others have talked about them. I particularly like the ABWH album, I discussed it in my June Anniversary Albums show. Thanks for your picks!
I’ve never heard of these bands before Daniel, I already knew that Tony Banks and Jack Hues did an album and I’ll definitely give it a listen someday!! 😄👍
Cool show, man. I know eight of your ten and have heard most of them. (Except PJ Party and the Paxton one.) I’m sure l even have some of them, like Mogul Thrash and GPS, on CD 💿 somewhere in my voluminous collection. My choice is one that l talked about on Scot Lade’s channel The Prog Corner recently: Ad Infinitum’s self-titled one and done from 1998. It’s beautifully presented with an unheralded Roger Dean cover. The music within is definitely influenced by classic 70s Yes and Genesis, but has a sound all its own. Check out the 11 minute mini-epic “Waterline,” you won’t be disappointed. It’s memorable, magical, melodic and uplifting. Love it! Cheers from The Big Apple. 🍎 Rock Out, Prog On and Pogo! I acknowledge, at the start of the video, that other people have done this topic but that I wanted to do my own take on it. I don’t see what the problem is.

Very interesting, thank you. Without giving this more than a minute’s thought, Blue Sunshine by The Glove might have made my list.
I’ll have to check that one out!
My choices are the obvious ones but absolutely love the La's album and Jeff Buckley Grace
Nice!

I hope you find something you like!
@@bicyclelegsmusic Thank you, I’ll probably like it as I love synth pop and old Genesis!! 😊👍

Sounds like someone has been watching Grant's channel cause we do a series called ONE and DONE????🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔😐😐😐🫣
Grant’s hardly the only guy to tackle the topic.
