How can an ML model classify "Never a dull moment!" as positive sentiment even if the statement has a couple of "negative" words?

I think they can understand a double negative, if there is a negative word in two separate parts of sentence, say in the subject phrase and object or a negative adverb, it can understand one is negating the other, hence positive. Huge may be though
