What a wonderful grace to witness! God’s blessing from a member of the Personal Ordinariate of the Chair of St. Peter. We are former Anglicans and Methodists now in full communion with the Roman Catholic Church. We have our own patrimony, and our Mass is a fully valid Catholic Mass. We were established under the Apostolic Constitution Anglicanorum Coettibus by Pope Benedict XVI. We rejoice with all the Holy Rites within the Church, both East and West.

Do those holy rights include moving known pedophile priests from parish to parish leaving a trail of victims?
      Hmm?
So much for the...ahem...integrity and holy rights of your catholic church.

@Theshadow Knows One world government???? What does that even mean? I am neither Roman Catholic nor Eastern Orthodox. But I have far more respect for the traditions received from the Apostles and handed down to us, regardless of the corruption that crept in over the centuries, than I do for paranoid, dispensationalist Protestantism that is no more than a couple of hundred years old and is based in American cultural politics and not in the Gospel once and for all delivered to the saints. It is you who need to open your eyes.

VanaMana9137 in 1911 the orthodox Church in Transilvania had been tucked by force by catholicism. The orthodox churches was distroid and the Pope gave to the orthodox the right to build churches only by Wood to not last, orthodox did not have the right to have icons so they Painted them on glass, orthodox did not have the rights to go to Scholl or to have any social rights. My grand parents goes through all of this. Your Luck is named greed. We do not consider you christians, sory.

@@mikamika752 what you said is totally FAKE. Shame on you.
In Transilvania and Romania in general there is the traditional of wood churches (that is false that don't last you dumb faker).
In Romania there are both orthodox (majority) and catholics and the only problems in the past was with communism that fought religion in general.

Luca B. You are a lier. All of this happened in 1911 under the emperatrice Maria Tereza's order. General Bucov was the comander of the austran army who distroyed the orthodox churches by cannon and the Pope gave the bless. After that the romanian orthodox did not have the right to build churches maded by stone anymore, but only made by Wood as its burn easely. Read some history, it would be usefull to you. Due to the mountain did not allowed to instala the cannon, the soldiers used hammers to broke each icon on the Rameti Monastery's althar.

A woman's hair was considered her crowning glory so giving it up is a sacrifice to the Lord. A century ago they would have shaved her head, which was also practical. Wimples fit very snug to the head and neck only leaving the face exposed and then a veil was added possibly with a starched support structure which would have made your hair follicles very sore day in and day out. Years ago I worked with a nurse who left the order and eventually married and had children. She wore a wig because after 10 years of being a nun the front part of her skull was bald from her veiling apparatus. in later years they just cut the hair short unless requested to have it shaved. Depending on how long the novice wore her hair it would be less traumatic to shorten long hair while someone who wore their hair short might prefer to have it shaved. I have found that it can be less traumatic for women who originally wore their hair very short to face hair loss from chemo than women with long hair I think that Ilhan Omar is suffering the same fate given the tight head wraps that she frequently wears. It can kill the hair follicles due to restricted circulation.

@@interestedobserver-gk3ih .y personal belief is that our hair serves an important purpose to ourselves and God Almighty. His ways are much higher so I dont know exactly what that is except I believe there is power in our hair. Maybe as like antennas. Head coverings are important in all religious orders. There is something very special about the purpose it serves. Its up to God to conceal a thing and glory of Kings to figure them out!!!

The Orthodox churches had been distroid by the army, (general Bucov) and all the icons distroid at the time. The Orthodox got the permission to build churches only by wood as they not last. Hi, I'm a Catholic and I am confused as to what Tonsuring is and if it relates to the Catholic Religion. To my knowledge this is a practice of the Orthodox Christians. Isn't St. Nicholas in Barberton a Catholic Church??

Jessica Walsh dear Jessica, tonsuring indeed is a Catholic thing. in the 1200s it meant for a religious man that he was under the authority of the Pope of Rome. these Catholics are of the Melkite rite which is indeed in union with Rome. look up other videos in this feed of St. Nicholas Barberton and they explain the similarities and differences between the Latin Rite and the Eastern Rite.
