- Lake Waco is a U.S Army Corps Of Engineer lake and features several C.O.E campgrounds. To wrap up our camping for 2021 we decided to spend New Years Eve RV camping at Lake Waco. There are several C.O.E. Campgrounds on Lake Waco. Our campground of choice was Speegleville Park.
Located on the southwest side of Lake Waco and features some truly nice lakeside campsites.
Lake Waco is an impound on the Bosque River and is well know as a great fishing lake.
While camping at Lake Waco we hop into the truck and went to explore all that Lake Waco has to offer.

Would you choose Speegleville Park over Airport Park?
I think Speegleville Park because I hate being undrer the airport flight path
Thanks. I looks like speeglville doesnt have sewer at each site and airpor does? The reservation.gov isnt super clear when it comes to that information. @DudeRV
Also. Thanks for your drive through videos. I've been able to select great sites using your videos to do my preview
@@stephensharp8091 When you are doing a site search on Recreation.gov click on the "filters" button and you can check the "sewer" box and you will find that there are 20 sites at Airport Park that have sewer. You are correct about Speegelville park not having any connections. I hope that helps!

Great job. Speegleville is now on my list! We’re you able to take Little Red on that trail by the Equestrian area? We are always looking for good trails for our ebikes.
I did not attempt to ride that trail but really wish that I had after finding so many of the COE parks at Waco Lake closed. I looked to be a pretty good trail for biking and hiking. Thanks for watching!
