This award winning song is a room stopper. For anyone that grew up with this song, especially non Spanish speaking, the poetic rhythm style transcends language. It's also a testament to how beautiful the Spanish language is with its soft and loving consonants, to those unmistakable rolls of the Rs.

I sing this using the lyrics from the first three Disney Princess movies (Snow White, Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty).
When we went to Tijuana, Mexico (I remember, almost 20 years ago, mind you!), my friend asked me to sing a song in Spanish at a karaoke bar there. I already had 2 Tecate beers, and the only song I could come up in Spanish was "Eres Tu." I got some help from some man in the audience he came up and helped me harmonized to finish the song, we did good to say the least! I have heard of this song since i was a kid in the Philippines, just loved the melody, and could never get enough of it! One of those songs that just gets stucked on you, you'd hear it even in passing, and you're back to memoryland once again! I ended up here today, because I happened to click on a RUclips recommendation to "The Madrigal Singers of the Philippines" singing "Eres Tu" at the Filipino embassy in Argentina. And man, while I was watching the video, couldn't helped it, their performance moved me to tears! So, one more time I'm enjoying this song to this Karaoke! :-)
