Amoxicillin yeah thats what vets told me to give stray sick cats always seems to work so far
I do have some amoxicillin on hand, but I think he needs something stronger. I know someone at a local rescue who's helped before, so I'm reaching out to her and some others I know. But, thank you for the suggestion and support. ❤

Sorry it's that day again tomorrow. I really understand (haven't had the very same experience, but my own). Please watch that finger! It looks really sore. I might ask Doc S. if I can video tomorrow at Greysons vet visit. If so, I will post it when we get home. It's probably going to be a hard one because they will be debriding again, and it's horribly painful. This will be our last attempt. I will have to make a hard choice to have the leg taken if this time doesn't work. I have no idea how the funding will work out, but I'm just going to put my trust in the universe. It's so hard to be in this position, whether it's Jack or Greyson or any other... Take that break, Wanda. Try to find a bit of peace and come back feeling a little more refreshed. You need and deserve it. There will be days that I am going to need it, but it's your turn right now. We got this.
Go ahead and film it if you can. This channel is about education and advocacy and the reality of rescue. I don't care if the video doesn't get monetized. It's more important to educate folks. Sending positive thoughts and energy to you, Russ, and Mr. Grayson. ❤
I shared with Dawn the story of Carnelia who got hit by a car in front of me (in 2017). When I pulled her out from under a bush she turned around and bit my thumb really hard. There was a lump there for a year! Luckily it was nothing more than that. I hope you heal without any trouble!

Jack does look better i.m.o. too. Eyes not as crusty, and his nose seems clearer. Watch your finger closely, I had a cat bite a few years ago that really went south!! The bite was on my finger too, but the swelling started to go up to my whole hand and became very red and very painful. Ended up at the emergency for a lot of shots and many different antibiotics, l couldn't work for two weeks. I've always heard that cat bites can be deadly, and found out that it's true. I still now have some numbness in my finger, as I couldn't go to a specialist that they suggested, for nerve damage repair, because of no health insurance. If you would take Jack in to be neutered for $20, do they also check him out and do some kind of exam on him first before the neuter? Or do they just do the neuter and that's it. Just wondering if that would be a way to kind of see what other issues he might have. There's nothing wrong with taking a day off. I've never celebrated birthdays either, never celebrate any "so called" holidays actually! Except Halloween!!🤣🤣🤣🤣💀😈The only holiday there should ever be!!😆🖤🖤🖤 Enjoy your day off Wanda!! I know cat bites can be serious. I got bit by a kitten once and had a similar experience to yours. The swelling is going down in my finger, but I'm watching it closely. I'm not sure if they examine before a neuter, but I can ask. And, of course, Halloween is the ultimate holiday. That's why I have a black cat named Abracadabra!😂❤
Had quite a few cat bites in my time Wanda, but luckily I have never had a reaction and swelling like that from any🙏Hope the pain and swelling go down soon. I won't wish you a happy birthday as I know you said you don't like celebrating them. I am exactly the same on my birthday, tell nobody, and dont do anything to celebrate it. I see nothing to celebrate getting a year older once we get 50+😂😂😂😂
And just to cheer you up a little as I think you need it, seeing your swollen finger just proved to me how warped my mind is, because I swear it looked exactly like what I see when I go to the toilet every morning on waking up, the resemblance is uncanny😂😂😂❤Now don't tell me that didn't make you giggle😂😂😂😂
