@@SoleEpiphany It's not a cost issue but rather a software one. Sir, thank you so much for showing us your first impressions about this product here in North America. At this moment, I'm still waiting on mine to be delivered from Best Buy. 😮💨
@FernandoFernandesdeOliveira nice, I bet you're excited to receive it. Hope my review helped. I have a couple more videos about the product or is related to the product that might help that will be posted within a couple of days.
@@MMDriven it's possible that the company underestimated the amount of people that actually wanted to purchase this item. I have seen it before with other companies. Hang in there, hopefully it will show up soon.
girl point of view here... i read comments (here and the other videos) but especially about "ets vs ats" setting/design and (honeslty), the design looks cool, great, looks reel etc but it looks to be made for ets (or european brands such as man, maz, daf, scania, daimler, iveco, renault, volvo, mercedez) with the wheel degree angle, buttons accessibility, mini shifter and so... really made for a flatnose and/or compact cab ; I am not sure the mental-feeling on usa truck brands because i mostly have a crush for KW900 long sleeper trucks. But for sure, before buying this Hori model, I will continue to read people comments (all on youtube) for the next up coming months to frame it ; its costly and i do not want to regret it. For now, I am using a g29 with some 3d print custom parts + seiko console "(¬ . ¬)"
I think for the American styled trucks you would want to modify a wheel stand or table top to get the desired angle, just adds more complexity to the build, and more setup time as you would want to then hard mount the wheel to the table top. or nore awkward to store a wheel stand. think the only real way would be if the person was rig mounting the wheel to American styled trucking. we can adjust the wheel in UK trucks to about 30 degrees, or at least could with something like the Volvo FL10's back in the day.
@azumi-osaki sounds like a nice setup you have. The Hori system is designed more for European feel as you stated. I think it works well for both games. I plan to start using it in ets2 very soon. I do believe that you would get better performance out of a custom setup rather than this product. Just got to figure out what would work best for you.
@@DirtyDogsNonsense i am interested to have this Hori (especially the steering size vs g29) but as you mentionned on your previous video, the shifter looks very short (i am not especially looking for a broom stick) but I would have expected something more... normal, at least one hand and half large tall (maybe i could custom it with a 3d print) and the fact that the shifter and buttons are very "close/compact", i try to imagine by driving and pushing buttons in same time that i am looking the road (bit dangerous), that could have been useful to move the buttons backwards or to one side the shifter... Personnal (female opinion), I see this "kit" for adult (I am sure of it) but they did not think to everything about accessibility and bodyshape. Most of steerings i have tested, it's like to say they are mostly "made-designed" for teens... I am not sexist/feminist but i am a tall girl and "well-shaped" (not big) and the fact that i am handling a g29 squeeze my breasts... so I am sure that Hori Steering could be great but that debate/topic/subject will be a fascination for truck enthusiasts and truckers alike...
@azumi-osaki After hauling a heavy load, I realize that the shifter is too small. I made a 40-50k mistake in my next video because of it.😁 It needs to be twice the size of its current size if Hori fixes that in their version 2.0 update (if they make one), then this product would be hard to beat for the price.
I was waiting for a honest review about this product, I didn’t know if is better save more money for the moza setup. Thank you, greeting from Colombia.
@victorariasvanegas7407 Good morning. Rather, purchasing Hori's system or Moza's system would all depend on your budget and preference. I think for the price Hori's system is a good buy. I haven't owned it long enough to say you will have this problem or that problem with it. Moza products seem more superior, but you're going to pay double to triple the amount to this product. I would say do your research and pick what you think is best for your needs. Hope this helps and thanks for watching. Cheers from Florida 😊
This setup seems more for ETS and Euro trucks than ATS and American trucks. I use the Moza truck wheel and base with a Fanatec shifter that has a 12-inch extender and a real Eaton Fuller shifter knob. That setup places the shifter where it would be in a real American truck. The buttons on the Moza wheel don't interfere when turning the wheel. The buttons on the Hori seem like they would be in the way when turning the wheel with one hand.
Nice setup, you may be right. Although, once I changed seats it might not be as big as a problem as I predicted. I will be hauling freight with it for the first and I will know for sure then.
Was waiting for this after the last video, hope you do more after you spend some time with it. I thought I needed to change the battery in my smoke detector, but I think it’s yours 😉😜.
They did the wheel for the most of trucks lover's, some trucks different from others and seems like this set is more for ets but looks comfy and good quality wheel
Let me sing you the song of my people: BEEP …… BEEP lol regardless good review !! Agree on that turn stalk. Seems oddly short when you are not turning wheel a lot depending on speed or location. I’m going to have to keep this on my radar when I save up. Was looking at this / Moza / Thrustmaster new Truck wheel. Really glad we see companies making legit trucking gear.
Yeah same, Moza might be better quality for sure, but only the wheel base (R9 in this case, and direct drive) and the TWS wheel cost more than this whole setup. With moza the pedals (with clutch) are another 220 euros, and the stalks are about the same. No shifer either, so moza is the double.
This system is great for people entering the game. It’s really a game changer with all the buttons being preprogrammed. It’s definitely not a moza system but the price reflects that. You can go get the r9, button box and all the bells and whistles but you will pay for it. 100 percent better than Logitech or thrustmaster. Again the price difference reflex it. This is now the best mid level system. In my opinion it’s the best bang for your buck on the market.
Glad I waited for a video review, there's a lot in here that I see that I like but also a lot I don't like. Build quality looks.. fragile, to put it nicely. Going to keep saving for a custom Moza R9 setup with the Truck Clamp, Signal Stalks and QR adapter, a 15in eBay steering wheel and a cheap 3rd party button box instead.
The Hori system isn't perfect for sure. I figured I give them a chance. ATS accessories makes some neat stuff too. Good luck saving up for your new setup, hope you can enjoy it soon.
@@DirtyDogsNonsense Yeah I was almost 100% sold on the Hori thru the pictures and the website. It looks like a great design overall, almost everything one would want in one kit, however I've never heard of Hori before this product so I wanted to make sure I had all the facts. Thanks for doing the review, hope you enjoy the setup!
Thank you for the review. Can't wait to get more of a review after you've used it for a while. I wonder if the Automatic Blinker off setting in the game will help with the having to press the turn signal twice when driving.
Hey man, great video. Not sure if you know this but I think there’s a mod you can install on some shifters to delete/block off that 7th gear you spoke of. Can’t say for sure if it’ll work for this particular shifter but I’m sure there will be someone working on it.
The shifter knob is 100% made for ETS and not ATS. In most older Euro trucks that gear knob is about the size unless the driver has installed his own costume knob. When I buy mine I will install a steering wheel spinner to make it even more authentic.
@BRxRanger I was thinking that myself or it could be used for moving the trailer axles back and forth like in real life. I will have to mess with it some and find out.
I find it interesting too, it has more buttons than the space shuttle. lol I am using just a universal PC gaming wheel stand that you can pick up from Amazon. Nothing too fancy.
Yeah I agree. Turn single level is way too short vs any current/newer vehicle. Would love one these wheels but it’s prob cost more then my whole system. And I’m running with g29 wheel, pedals, TH8a shifter and SKRS add on shifter. Been thinking of getting turn single lever for my system. But been slowly save up for 3 cheep tvs or monitors. How the shifter? Yeah it’s waaaay too small and short. I know there is force feed back shifter out there. But haven’t seen anybody talk about them. I look it up and they like $1500+ or more lol. I’d rather buy the stuff and features I want. Instead of getting all in one kit. It seems this wheel and kit was designed by monkeys. Not by ppl who driven a real semi or play a lot ATS/ETS. I never drive an automatic. Always use eaton fuller 18 speed on my trucks. I float the gears. Not every time. But still slowly learning how improve while down or upshifting while floating the gears. That shifter is missing L and H splits. I see has high/Low Range. But no split? No thank you. Sure you could program a button on wheel L/H split, but this wheel was suppose made for truckers, by trucker. How the hell did they miss that?…..LOL, clearly they not driving eaton fuller 10/13/18 speed if shifter don’t have it on side. Eaton fuller transmissions is known world wide. Except Europe, as they all have their own unique speed transmissions. Yah my TH8a has 8 gears. I use 7th gear drop trailer / 8th too hook up lol. The brakes button is pathetic, as you know all semi trucks use air brakes. It’s usually two big buttons. Yellow and red one. For truck and trailer brakes. This wheel was made by truckers? Or trucker fans? LOL no more likely made by nerds who don’t actually play ATS/ETS.
It's not perfect by no means, I will cover more about this during my first run video coming up in a few days. It's a universal setup for both games and it has a high range button and a high / low splitter button, it's just more European style. I might be able to explain more during the first run video.
Hi my friend in the USA bought this product used it on ats/ets2 for 3 months then it broke, he said its crap, I hope yours last longer than 3 months, I was going to buy one after he told me what happened I opted to buy a Moza R9 very happy
Thanks for the review. I'm most curious how the Force Feedback and such feels while driving. Overall how you you say it compares in quality and use compared to the Logitech most would likely be upgrading from. Thanks again
I will make a short video about the force feedback. I still haven't really used it yet. lol I believe it's near the same quality as Logitech + or - a point or two.
Hi, I'd love to know how smooth the wheel is when driving in game. I've had a few wheels that seems abit clunky like they're moving through gears. I'm not sure what sort of system this has for force feedback etc. If you could make a video about this or just reply id appreciate it. Thanks.
I have less than about 15 minutes of drive time with the wheel. Yesterday I got the force feedback working and it seemed smooth. I will make a video covering this tomorrow which should be aired on 9-27-24 or 9-28-24. This was going to be my next video.
7th Gear is reverse gear. I have it on my truck :) Is it worth buying? Cause im waiting for it? Like the quality and all? Will improve my experience and does all function as it supposed to?
@dragonchick6915 I figured it was there for a reason. Lol I believe it's worth purchasing, I haven't pulled freight with it yet. I plan to today, but you may have to adjust your seating arrangements to make this product easier/ better to use. I am in the process of uploading a short video explaining that so people won't be disappointed in this system. It should be posted on 9-24-24. When I was bobtailing around town just testing everything, I felt like it would put your gaming experience on a whole new level. Also, I wasn't happy with the product because of my seating arrangements. I was adjusting that yesterday evening and finally found a simple solution without spending more money. Then, I created a video about that because I think people will have similar issues. Now with my new seating arrangements I feel comfortable, and I feel like I'm driving a truck. So the short answer is yes, it should improve your gaming experience. 😊 I plan to upload a video of me pulling my first load with the Hori system on 9-25-24. I am going to try to show in-game footage while at the same time using the Hori system in person. My video editing skills or lack of skills is about to be tested. 😂
I think its a great set up the only question i have is does it work with other games? I play Iracing, BeamNG, FH5, assetto corsa, assetto corsa competizione, grid, Project Cars, CarX street ect. Will it run with these games or am i going to have to keep changing over from the Hori Truck Control System to my G29
@shawnlynch23 That seems to be the million dollar question. I was looking at that, but where I see controller options, it says unknown on some of the game titles. Lol I guess the only way to find out is to purchase a game and try it. Realistically, I would think so. Makes no sense to make a wheel that only works with 2 games.
Does it seem like the shift knob can be removed? I have the Eaton style shift knob on my current set up, but if the shifter knob can come off I would put my Eaton style on it, that’s the only thing I really don’t like about that set up is the shifter knob
@yfzguy593 I understand, I feel the same way. Only problem is if you change shifters you will lose your button box too. Everything seems to be one piece unless you know how to tear down electronics and put them back together.
@@DirtyDogsNonsense 😂😂 soon as I heard it I new what it was Loved the video waiting for your video on the driving experience mostly the ffb and how the wheel feels while turning
@@MRDEEGAMING 🤣 The simple things. lol I just finished creating a short video in game about force feedback. I am sure it will get a few laughs and hope it will answer a few questions. I will try to have it posted by Wednesday. I will try sooner, but it takes forever to upload videos. 3 hours to 2 days to upload one video.
I will have a in game video of me using the Hori system in a couple days or by the weekend at the latest. Due to my internet or lack of it takes any where from 3 hours to 2 days to upload a single video. I will have one up soon as I can. :)
@sammypresser471 I installed a steering knob on the wheel yesterday, as others suggested, too. I took it off one of my pick-ups. Plan to try it out later today. Thanks for the help. I can't try it on consoles because I don't own any of the current models. Everything I have is out of date.🤣 The newest console I have is PS2 and Xbox360.
I got mine the same day you got yours. I didn't like a lot of the same things you don't, especially the height of the button box. My vibration doesn't work. Set at max in the driver app and in game. Like you, I think for $625.00, the buttons should light up. Eha, kind of disappointed.
I just finished uploading a video talking about the App. It might help, it might not. It will be posted in the morning. About the wheel, it's not perfect. I want to log some miles with it before I give it a final verdict.
@amysummers69 nice, I believe that you will like it. There are no screws or mounting hardware included with the product, or at least I didn't see any in the box unless I overlooked that. Although it does have good quality c style clamps that hold the wheel and shifter/button box in place. In the video, I have my setup mounted on a universal wheel stand, which is not included with the Hori system. I purchased that from Ebay or Amazon a few years ago.
@NickHatfield-w3f I do not, most likely you will have to check out their website and check on how the company wants you to contact customer service. Sometimes it's over the phone and Sometimes it's through email.
Hello, it doesn't have tilt steering. You may need a chair that sits higher, or you could possibly modify / build something to your mounting surface so the wheel can be at a different angle. My solution was changing chairs. I will be using an office chair with adjustable height.
@@DirtyDogsNonsense yes dd, I understand that, but I wondered if you could tilt the angle of the whole unit, without affecting the operational integrity of it, without steering wheel tilt, hori have made a massive mistake , In 35 years doing it for real, I count on one hand the drivers, with the launch plate position on the wheel, hopefully you get what I mean buddy 🏴✌️
@@JamesDickson-vs5of Hey buddy, I think I understand. I have my wheel mounted on a flat level surface. If you change the angle of that surface to say... 45 degrees+ or - so the steering wheel will be at a different angle. I believe the wheel should work and function normally. I don't see why it wouldn't, although I haven't tried this myself.
@@DirtyDogsNonsense thanks dawg for the reply, can you grant me one favour, just when you've a minute or two, could you check the box and instructions to see if it is written anywhere, that the steering wheel component " must be layed on a flat or level surface, because if it doesn't, im gonna go ahead and order one, hope you and yours are well, regards from Scotland 🏴 happy healthy peace ✌️
They made a compact setup so that nothing is sticking out to much, and they solved the comon issue of button box, shifter and handbrake with this one unit, so your complaints are not valid, but more like personal nit-pickings. What we all really want here is your driving feedback
I was comparing it to a real semi-truck wheel, yes you are right a lot of it was personal nit-picking. I understand that this is a universal unit and it's not personalized. Overall, I believe Hori done an excellent job.
Thanks for the review. It is like I thought it would be. Within 5 minutes the sentence: "I wish it was better, different, ..." or "I'm a bit disappointed with ..." So, you can't adjust the angle of the steering wheel??? 🤔 Oh well ... I hope that those who spend all that money for it, will be happy. I doubt it, though.
I think it will be a nice product to use, it is a universal setup, so it's not personalized. Will I be happy with this product? Not sure, still too early to tell. I will let you know in 3 months once I put some miles on it.
@@DirtyDogsNonsense I'm sure interested in your follow-up feedback. Not for me personally, because I just ordered the Moza Racing R5 bundle and I'll save up for the upcoming stalks and add a real big steering wheel to it, but ... definitely interested to hear if @HORI learned from their mistakes and came up with a better product as their previous attempts.
@@ArrowsRealm I will note anything and everything about the product that may seem helpful to others. Hopefully it's a good product if not I will have their warranty department on speed dial. :)
You claim that the blinker stalk stays on. This is not actually true for all vehicles. I would have thought the same way you did until I purchased my 2013 F-350 dump truck. It also does this with the blinkers, it is annoying to get used to at first but after driving for some time it just becomes a normal action.
@WildFyr most cars and pickup trucks, including some of the newer semi trucks have auto canceling turn signal switches as you described. I was referring to the older semi trucks where you have to turn the signal switch on and off manually, which is what I am used to using at work. Now, in both ATS and ETS2, you have a setting where you can either have your turn signals auto cancel or cancel the signal manually. It's personal preference. It's just something I wasn't a fan of from Hori. It could be a problem or not, most likely it takes getting used to as you suggested.
I have to admit that is a nice steering wheel setup. It may be good for ET2. But not for ATS, Im sorry but that doesn't go well with a Peterbilt or a Kenworth, or even a Freightliner.
@dion7470 The screws came with my universal wheel stand that I purchased about 3 years ago. The M6 screws worked on my Logitech setup and my Hori system. If you had to, you can check out your local hardware store and should be able to purchase them if needed. I would bring part of your setup with you, like the shifter or pedals, just to make sure you get the proper hardware. Might save you extra trips. 😊
@@DirtyDogsNonsense the manufacturer's website states that the game is not compatible. This seems incredible because it is a good candidate for this game. Unfortunately, I do not have access to the steering wheel to check it thoroughly. I do not know what exactly is incompatible. Only the buttons, some of them or the entire steering wheel.
@CebeS486 if I had to guess, it would be the buttons that won't be compatible. I would hope the wheel and pedals work for other games. If Hori's system doesn't work for other games, then that's really going to affect sales and player reviews drastically. As for myself, I mainly play ATS and ETS2, so it's not as much of a problem, but that would be very disappointing and would lower my rating for this product. I will try to do some testing and try other games that I am interested in out just to see what happens. Give me a few weeks and I will see what I can do.
@@DirtyDogsNonsense I would be very grateful for a test in the game OMSI 2. That's all I need. It's quite possible that the manufacturer didn't activate the controller, which is rare in other games but required in OMSI 2. In the case of this game, after configuration, the key, if I remember correctly, is K key. Many thanks!
@CebeS486 your welcome. I plan to do a couple more ATS videos showing off the Hori system and then do the same for ETS2. Once that's complete, then I will start doing some research on other games to test out.
@MartyIzaysaki the problem has been dealt with. After changing batteries a few times and it still beebed, well, it's now outside in the front yard somewhere. Problem solved. 😊😂
The game has an option for auto-cancellation of turn signals. Not having lighted controls is a deal breaker, though. I do not drive a vehicle with my interior lights on, and I'm not going to have room lights on while at my computer. $600 and not even lighted? Hard pass.
@TE5LA-GAMING I hear you. Maybe the next model might include some of those upgrades. I was hoping the button box would light up myself, but it doesn't. :(
@deliucz8398 I was messing around in ATS for about 20 minutes, and I couldn't get the retarder function to work. I even tried an automatic transmission setting, and it still didn't want to work. I will have to do some more digging on this matter unless I missed something in the settings, which is very possible. I will keep you posted.
@deliucz8398 The lever for the automatic transmission functions? Yes, it does. Maybe that's what I was doing wrong. I got to run into town. When I get back this evening, I will check out a few more settings and see if something different happens.
I use a universal PC gaming steering wheel stand that I bolted/ clamped down my Hori Truck Control System. I made a short video about the stand if you want to check it out. It might help out more.
You might be correct, not sure just yet. I was looking at the Moza products, but due to price I couldn't afford a setup like that at this time. This was my next best option, hopefully I made the right decision. We shall see. :)
It has a bit of both, the part of the wheel you grip has a leather like texture to it and it feels something similar to the Logitech wheel. The rest of the wheel is plastic like most other products.
@PPlays254 honestly a bit of both because it does have a lot of plastic on the product. I think it's near a similar level as Logitech, if not a little higher. Hori's clamping system seems much better than Logitech. I believe it's a sturdy product. You shouldn't have any issues with it unless you're planning on throwing the wheel out the window or something. 😁 If you do run into issues, I think it would be internally rather than external. I hope it doesn't happen, but you can never tell with electronics.
I understand, my Logitech setup took me about 4 months to put together because I purchased everything separately. With this product it's all one kit for better or worse.
@BEazie217 Honestly, I was expecting to receive this in November. I ordered this product directly from Hori instead of Amazon or other third-party sources. I think that's one of the reasons. Otherwise, I am not sure.
The only thing worth buying in this kit is a shifter. Everything else isn't worth the money. By buying this set for such a lot of money, you are limiting yourself to only ATS and ETS2 games. That's unreasonable.
@ioannis. I haven't tried using the Hori system on other games. I would think it would work for other games. If it didn't, you would definitely be right. I normally play ATS and ETS2, so others would have to try that theory out. We will just have to wait and see. 😊
@TRUTHDISTRIBUTIONNETWORK it's all good. I do my best to improve each video. I know some are better to watch than others. Thanks for tuning in to try and watch all of this nonsense. 😀
You can go in game setting to automatically turn off turn signals after turn
I was just going to comment this. That was my first thought when he mentioned the turn signal
Yes it's come with a default settings.
I’d say it was probably a cost issue to set up the spring back like in a regular vehicle. They had to cut features somewhere I’m sure.
@@SoleEpiphany It's not a cost issue but rather a software one. Both ETS2 and ATS use only the signal from a button (keyboard, controller, or wheel - it doesn’t matter the source) that is sent upon pressing, not holding. HORI is plastic junk , look at their driving wheel it's horrible
Looks like a really nice setup, I'm excited to see what they hold up like in the future
Same here, hopefully 5+ years at a minimum.
Was waiting for this after the last video, hope you do more after you spend some time with it. I thought I needed to change the battery in my smoke detector, but I think it’s yours 😉😜.
🤣It was, I fixed the problem.
They did the wheel for the most of trucks lover's, some trucks different from others and seems like this set is more for ets but looks comfy and good quality wheel
@meiryaron7797 I am enjoying using this Hori system, it does have more of a ets2 design, but works well for both ats and ets2.
@DirtyDogsNonsense yes I agree with you, can't wait for the wheel, want to spend tons of hours on it
@meiryaron7797 once you receive the wheel, hope you enjoy it.
Let me sing you the song of my people: BEEP …… BEEP
lol regardless good review !!
🤣🤣 I am glad others are making truck sim gear. Might have more options in a few more years.
I am defiantly getting this over the Moza setup, so much cheaper, BUT $600 still be up there
Yeah same, Moza might be better quality for sure, but only the wheel base (R9 in this case, and direct drive) and the TWS wheel cost more than this whole setup.
@@Allium_369 couldn't agree more.
Thank you for your review I’ve just pre-ordered one myself 🙂
Awesome, hope you enjoy it.
I just ordered me a Moza Racing bundle.
@@ArrowsRealm Nice
You're welcome, you might be right about the blinker setting. Most likely will depend on personal preference.
My work ford F550 does the same thing. Have to press the TS twice to turn it off
@@Spankys-place o okay.
For the blinker, you can change the settings in game to turn the blinker off automatically. Hopefully that might help
Hey man, great video. Not sure if you know this but I think there’s a mod you can install on some shifters to delete/block off that 7th gear you spoke of. Can’t say for sure if it’ll work for this particular shifter but I’m sure there will be someone working on it.
@johnbaron3070 Thank you, and thanks for the information. If it becomes a problem, I will definitely look into something like that.
The shifter knob is 100% made for ETS and not ATS. In most older Euro trucks that gear knob is about the size unless the driver has installed his own costume knob. When I buy mine I will install a steering wheel spinner to make it even more authentic.
@@JohnBlund94 I use it in both games, I guess it's all personal preference.☺️
@DirtyDogsNonsense Ohh you 100% can, I just commented on when you said it felt to small and that you wished they made it bigger/ hade a bigger one.
@JohnBlund94 I understand now. No worries. 😊
Great video looks great.
I hope we can buy the shifter separately I already have a steering wheel
I checked their website and unfortunately you can't purchase the separate pieces. Must purchase the whole rig all together.
20 on your button box looks like a trailer brake for ats
@BRxRanger I was thinking that myself or it could be used for moving the trailer axles back and forth like in real life. I will have to mess with it some and find out.
I find the steering wheel very interesting. Question: Which steering wheel mount are you using in the video?
I find it interesting too, it has more buttons than the space shuttle. lol
I am using just a universal PC gaming wheel stand that you can pick up from Amazon. Nothing too fancy.
@@DirtyDogsNonsense Thank you. 👍🤝
@@labestianegra95x you're welcome.
I hope it does too, if not their warranty department will be getting an ear full. :)
Enjoy your Moza.
Will you do some Gameplay with this wheel? :) Would love to see it :)
Yes, that will be happening in a couple of days.
Thanks for the review. I'm most curious how the Force Feedback and such feels while driving.
Overall how you you say it compares in quality and use compared to the Logitech most would likely be upgrading from.
Thanks again
I will make a short video about the force feedback. I still haven't really used it yet. lol
I believe it's near the same quality as Logitech + or - a point or two.
Lol
I believe it's worth purchasing, I haven't pulled freight with it yet.
I plan to upload a video of me pulling my first load with the Hori system on 9-25-24. I am going to try to show in-game footage while at the same time using the Hori system in person. My video editing skills or lack of skills is about to be tested. 😂
@@DirtyDogsNonsense thanks for the reply. I would probably order it🫡
@dragonchick6915 you're welcome. I'm glad I could help out. I think you'll be happy with this product.
Lol
I guess the only way to find out is to purchase a game and try it.
Everything seems to be one piece unless you know how to tear down electronics and put them back together.

hello can you please today upload a new video with a review in the game and again your honest thoughts, thank you in advance!
I will have a in game video of me using the Hori system in a couple days or by the weekend at the latest. Due to my internet or lack of it takes any where from 3 hours to 2 days to upload a single video. I will have one up soon as I can. :)
Get you a steering nob, left and up is reverse. Can you see if it would work on consoles?
@sammypresser471 I installed a steering knob on the wheel yesterday, as others suggested, too. I took it off one of my pick-ups. Plan to try it out later today. Thanks for the help.
I can't try it on consoles because I don't own any of the current models. Everything I have is out of date.🤣
The newest console I have is PS2 and Xbox360.

No problem, to answer your question, it's been a bit and it's overdue. :)

I just finished uploading a video talking about the App. It might help, it might not. It will be posted in the morning. About the wheel, it's not perfect. I want to log some miles with it before I give it a final verdict.
Button 20, i think is semi trailer brake.
I got one on Pre-Order due on 1/Nov/24. Q: Does it come with Screws to Mount to frame?
@amysummers69 nice, I believe that you will like it. There are no screws or mounting hardware included with the product, or at least I didn't see any in the box unless I overlooked that. Although it does have good quality c style clamps that hold the wheel and shifter/button box in place.
In the video, I have my setup mounted on a universal wheel stand, which is not included with the Hori system. I purchased that from Ebay or Amazon a few years ago.
My button on the steering wheel don’t work but they did the day before! Everything else works great! Any suggestions why they are not working??
@@NickHatfield-w3f is it just one button not working or all of them?

Hi sir do you think you could tilt the steering wheel component could be tilted, for better rake on the steering wheel?🏴✌️
Hello, it doesn't have tilt steering. You may need a chair that sits higher, or you could possibly modify / build something to your mounting surface so the wheel can be at a different angle. My solution was changing chairs. I will be using an office chair with adjustable height.
@@DirtyDogsNonsense yes dd, I understand that, but I wondered if you could tilt the angle of the whole unit, without affecting the operational integrity of it, without steering wheel tilt, hori have made a massive mistake ,
In 35 years doing it for real, I count on one hand the drivers, with the launch plate position on the wheel, hopefully you get what I mean buddy 🏴✌️

So, you can't adjust the angle of the steering wheel??? 🤔 Oh well ... I hope that those who spend all that money for it, will be happy. I doubt it, though.

Nice but I wouldn't buy the gear stick/ shifter is at the wrong place
@utonjohnson9274 I hear you. I thought about trying a different shifter to see how I like it. Right now just using the stock setup.
🤣 I see what you're saying. It will just have to. lol
Excuse me, did you have to purchase the M6 screws?
@dion7470 The screws came with my universal wheel stand that I purchased about 3 years ago. The M6 screws worked on my Logitech setup and my Hori system.
If you had to, you can check out your local hardware store and should be able to purchase them if needed. I would bring part of your setup with you, like the shifter or pedals, just to make sure you get the proper hardware. Might save you extra trips. 😊

Thanks for the reply I'm thinking of buying the hori truck control system but like the moza truck wheel because it lights up
@dion7470 that's cool. Do your research and pick whichever setup you think will work best for you.

Yes, I have mine set to the manual setting which I will explain why in a near future video.
To what extent is this steering wheel not compatible with omsi 2? Just the panel or just the steering wheel?
not sure, I would think basic functions would work, but I haven't played Omsi 2. Might need to do some more research on the matter.
@CebeS486 your welcome. I plan to do a couple more ATS videos showing off the Hori system and then do the same for ETS2. Once that's complete, then I will start doing some research on other games to test out.

@@milanzetor4723 you would have to check Hori's website. I believe it only comes as a whole unit. Wheel, pedals, and shifter/ botton box.
What is the quality on the wheel? is it plastic or leather?

@PPlays254 honestly a bit of both because it does have a lot of plastic on the product. I think it's near a similar level as Logitech, if not a little higher. Hori's clamping system seems much better than Logitech.
I believe it's a sturdy product. You shouldn't have any issues with it unless you're planning on throwing the wheel out the window or something. 😁
If you do run into issues, I think it would be internally rather than external. I hope it doesn't happen, but you can never tell with electronics.
